This place is a music lover’s paradise! Our son needed to have his saxophone cleaned and repaired so we took the drive from Davidson. Well worth it! They have an in-house tech named Daniel & he is patient & thorough, and you can really tell he takes pride in his work. I really liked that! The manager of this store is also really nice! The place is packed with merchandise. Instruments for just about anything & anyone. You have got to check this store out! Conveniently located by Costco, too. I took plenty of pics. Check them out!

I purchased a new Roland electronic drum set and a Fender bass guitar. They valued my trade-in gear at a great price and made it very easy for me to purchase my new equipment without spending much more money. Both the staff and the manager worked with me very closely and provided answers to any questions I had in a very friendly, professional, and a timely manner. It was a great experience for me and I was extremely satisfied and couldn't wait to get home and try out my purchases. Thanks to Erik, and Steve, for your assistance. I will surely be back in the near future when I need something.

Me and my family have gone to this store for years. My grandfather took me to buy my first guitar here. The customer support is amazing as always. The store itself holds so much sentimental value to me. Thanks for all your help through out the years. And with my own children I am sure there are many more to come

Decent selection of instruments for beginners and intermediate. Came in to look at their selection of classical guitars and classical guitar music sheets. Selection of guitars was ok. If you’re a processional classical guitarist then you’ll probably be disappointed. Not many great selections of music sheet for classical guitar. Staff was helpful. Many other interesting instruments to choose from.

I recently visited the Sam Ash Music Store in Charlotte, NC and worked with Eric O. on a trade-in towards a PRS SE Custom 24-08. Eric was fantastic to work with! He made sure that I was informed on the trade-in process and all promotions that could apply to my transaction. I walked in hopeful to score a deal on my dream guitar, and that's exactly what happened! Sam Ash as a chain is phenomenal and I will be supporting them for as long as I can. Could not have had a better experience. Josh repaired my guitar quickly and educated me on maintenance. He is clearly extremely knowledgable of his craft and passionate about helping musicians learn about their instrument. He went above and beyond and helped me way more than he had to. Highly recommend!

LESS THAN ZERO... Promised a guitar to my band mate - she passed on a guitar in Nashville because Sam Ash said she could pick it up when she got home in 3 days and they SOLD IT ON REVERB - the store had HER SOLD SIGN on it. Manager didn't offer to do much... he wasn't apologizing or owning up to his mistake. Let's suffice it to say... don't believe them when they tell you.."it's cool.. we'll hold it til Monday... you don't have to pay now... you don't have to send anyone in to pick it up.... we 'got' you.." YEAH...They GOT her all right. Watch yourself in that place. There are plenty of other places to get your gear.

Charlotte, NC location is Not the super mega monster music store it once was. I miss those days. Although Gregg in drums, is super friendly and helpful. I found 50% of my required items in stock. Displays and sample equipment is a thing of the past. Buy it in a box with no store display is apparently the future. Ok...but why not buy on-line then?

I visited the SamAsh store multiple times before making my purchase, as well as other guitar dealers. I was pleased with the selection at SamAsh, as well as the clean/quiet room to play in. Best of all, the salesperson I encountered was informative, passionate about guitars, and actually listened to what I was looking for as opposed to trying to push the most expensive one or the latest deal. Thank you Jordan Sledge for helping hook me up with my first Martin guitar. And also thank you for being someone in sales/customer relations who actually gives a s*#% about their job and the customer-very rare these days. This guitar was available at different stores, but it was the customer service that made me buy here. Thanks y’all
