Wanted to take a moment to thank you guys for your level of hospitality. My wife has not played in quite some time and had trouble getting her new strings on. They put them on for her and let her try a few new bows after figuring out that was the problem. While having a conversation they asked if they could clean the violin and even offered to put marks on the neck for finger placement. We were only charged for the bow. Fantastic experience. You’re the only ones who will work on her violin from now on. Can’t thank you and your love for these instruments enough!
I had been going through a hard time a few years ago and wanted to learn a new skill and cross something off my bucket list to brighten myself up-- learn the cello! I had absolutely no idea how to go about doing that, but after a google search and one phone call to the Violin Shoppe, I was guided through the process in such an exceptionally kind and pressure-free way. I was able to rent a cello from them and they helped me find an amazing teacher. After almost three years of stress-free renting from them, I just bought my own cello from their shop last week and the experience was nothing short of phenomenal. David and Glen listened when I communicated what I was looking for and organized a private space for me to try out a few cellos so I wouldn't feel self-conscious. It is evident that they put an enormous amount of care into their shop and will go way out of their way to make their customers' experiences wonderful ones. They are the epitome of what everyone looks for in a quality shop experience: thoroughly knowledgeable, skilled, welcoming, helpful, and kind. I honestly cannot recommend them enough and will most definitely be returning to them for anything I need in the future. My sincere gratitude to David and Glen!
Very nice people attending. The girl was sooo kindn... we love it.
Best place in Charlotte for anything for violin, viola, cello or bass. Call first.
Glen is a fantastic and amiable guy and he really knows about every instrument in the shop. Me and my GF have zero idea about a cello and we are able to rent a cello with confidence after his detailed explanations & demonstrations. He is patient and I am sure he is an excellent violin teacher also. Jason
I met the person callled David at front desk. He is so welcoming. I went there to purchase & enquire about guitar classes. He is so passionate that he has given all contacts for guitar lessons and had good conversation about learning a new instrument
Everyone here is so kind, helpful, and know what they are doing. They repaired my mothers old violin so I could learn on it, also gave me very helpful tips and advice for starting on the violin. Highly recommended, exceptional service.
Great service! Daughter rents violin for lessons. Stopped in for a string change. Very accommodating and friendly.
This shop epitomizes golden rule customer service. Their care and courtesy are calling cards. And their repair skills are beyond expectations. No reason to ever work with anyone else for string instrument needs.
The people are super nice and provide excellent customer service! I had to exchange a rented viola and it was seemless!
