They had to remove a mirror from the plywood backing piece that is attached to our wall and they used a hand saw to do this. Wouldn’t have been my go to but hey they’re the professionals right? Well the hand saw cut/gouged up our wall pretty bad. The guys told me I should just re-stain that and didn’t seem to care quite frankly. In conclusion, I don’t like Sam The Glazier and neither should you.
Sam the Glazier’s guys are amazing. Accurate measurements, fast, honest and reliable service and the guys do good clean work. The property management company I used to work for would use them and I hired them for my own personal job in my apartment. They caulked the interior and exterior of my windows, cleaned the work area and hauled away the old ones too! In and out within an hour I highly recommend them. Thanks again guys!
I rarely take time to write reviews for businesses, but Sam is a well deserved exception! I have been purchasing mirror and glass from Sam for 20 or so years. Most shops that you'll call Will spend just the bare minimum amount of time needed to make a sale. Not only does Sam take time and answer whatever questions you've got, he seems to actually love what he does. He's always been extremely generous with his time, sharing his expertise, answering questions and helping with whatever needs I have. He's also got extremely competitive pricing. Highly, highly recommended!
Not professional Sam the Glacier Has been in the neighborhood for years given good service. There must be a management change, Customer service lousy... Quality of work is Poor.
They couldn’t assure me that they can get the correct window after checking it the first time and he was rude and disrespectful….It was a simple question..can you guarantee the job so he declined the job and hung up.
Quick response, quality work, very professional. I highly recommend this business.
We'd been having a hard time finding anybody to replace our window panes because the frames are more than 30 years old & many places don't want to deal with that so they refuse to replace the panes & are only willing to rip out the entire frame, which is far more expensive & takes months to plan. I called Sam on a Monday morning, he asked for photos of our windows, which I sent via email & then he said they'd be happy to replace the panes & told me what it'd cost per pane. He sent somebody over the next morning to take measurements; it took them a while to get here because they had to drive over from Brooklyn to the UWS & parking is hard to find but they said they'd be able to install all the new windows on Thursday. I paid them in advance by cheque. Sure enough, they show up on Thursday morning with new windows. Took them a long time to replace them because our frames are in bad shape but they got the job done & now we have lovely new panes in our windows :-D
Best in the business. Not only professional, punctual, very fare rates. On a personal level Great man!
