What a nice place to go to for Mexican food. Very generous with their portions and very welcoming when you arrive there . Thank you Samano’s. The tostados where very good I had beef chicken and steak.
Wendy is such a lovely person. Always a pleasure to have her as our server. She is polite and takes cares of us, in such a nice manner. The service is prompt. The food and drinks are always fantastic! The food is always so tasty and presented very well. The house margarita is refreshing! We love our dinners there! We absolutely love going there!
Margaritas are always good, from scratch. Salsa is good. Service is good. Food....meh.....lacks flavor and seasoning. Fajitas are not sizzling and steak is cheap cut. This place has been around and very long time and that's awesome. Used to have to wait to get in, now they close at 10pm.
All of their food and drinks are excellent. The spinach enchiladas are my favorites. Their salsa has a kick, so beware. Their margaritas are made traditionally: On the rocks. Wonderful owners and staff, mostly family. Casual surroundings.
Great people and great food! I've been going there since the 70's... lots of fun times and lots of great margaritas! And let's not forget about the corned beef tacos they offer twice a year... during St. Patrick's day and Irish Fest. Yummy!
One of my all time favorite places. I love the bean dip with cheese...both that and the chips are addictive. I typically get the shredded beef chimichanga but anything here is good and service is always fast and friendly!
We were always curious about this place and the ratings were excellent so we decided to finally try it out. Simply, we won't be back. Frankly, I suspect there are two things at play here....locals who have never had truly good Mexican food and this place is their only point of reference, and people who like to get inebriated at the establishment's bar and are then eat this food. The food was sub-par at best, especially when compared to other local Mexican restaurants. All I equate it to is Mexican food made by people who have never tried Mexican food. Do yourself a favor, try another restaurant and save yourself the disappointment.
The food here is always fresh, hot, and hand hand made. You can't go wrong with almost anything on their menu. The chips and salsa are always fresh and if you add some of their fresh nacho cheese it makes for one kick but starter for your meal or just something to go with drinks. I will send anyone here.
They didn't heat up the tortillas Mexican food 101 so they were dry. They didn't fold my burrito, they just rolled it, so both ends were open on either side. The meat wasn't spiced, as far as I could tell, not even salt and pepper. Service was great, friendly, and attentive. Best part of the meal was the chips and salsa. It was food, it wasn't Mexican food, though. Bland.
Honestly I don't get the great reviews. I'm sorry I normally dislike when a great reviewed restaurant has a hater to ruin it's review rating but...... let's start the cheese whiz con queso so generic and the margaritas was served in a brandy glass and it was straight tequila! The fried fish taco was literally a frozen fish stick in a cold tortilla! Guacamole was not seasoned at all. Seafood enchiladas were made with frozen baby shrimp. Very disappointing. Although the staff was very nice and friendly
