Everything was on point, from the drinks to the service and, of course, the food. We tried 3 drinkspiña colada and 2 margaritas, a couple of appetizers, and a couple entrée and everything was really goodmole enchiladas are recommended, even the rice and beans wich I usually just leave alone in most places where good.
I'm actually truly impressed with my meal. I had 3 tacos de al apastor. It's a taco meal, came with rice and beans both were very good. I ordered a red salsa and it came with a green one. I love very spicy salsas so both the red and green one passed my preference level of spiciness. My husband's steak was juicy and very flavorful. They have kids meals as well. I've traveled to México and California, these tacos were pretty good. It might look small from outside but looks are deceiving. It's spacious when you step inside and there's a backroom and patio. Kid-friendliness: High chairs included Wheelchair accessibility: Didn't see a ramp in the front. There might be one in the back, I'd call before coming.
Amazing Food, I had Asada Steak Tacos, Pastor Pork Enchiladas, Chicken Tamale and a Cheese Empanada... All were Great... The $3.50 Margaritas were Very Tasty... The Service was the best... This is a hidden Gem I was surprised the place wasn't standing room only, but it should be... I will be back, thanks Daniel, Hilberto and Francisco, see you soon.
Great staff got there early on mothers day to avoid a crowd and had a great time and great foodFood: 4/5
I ordered the vegetarian burrito $13 and got the lunch special for an enchilada meal 7$+ 2$ sides. The food was done very well, tasted great and it was done pretty quickly!! I commented on their fb post asking more details about the lunch specials and in person, i think I was given some sass? Over the phone I was told everything on the menu like burritos, enchiladas and tacos were on the lunch menu. I wasn’t told that vegetarian options weren’t available for lunch specials.. I wasn’t angry but it’s odd that a burrito can’t be made without any meat? It is saving you money in the long run. I had seen them listed as a vegetarian friendly spot, just odd ?? I dunno, seems like there was some miscommunication? Also unsure if the beans have lard, couldn’t find any info online .
What a great Mexican restaurant! The food was outstanding. The service was exceptional and the decor is what a Mexican restaurant should be. I will be back.Food: 5/5
Food was high quality. Flavored well. Can't wait to come here in the summer to enjoy the patio.Food: 4/5
GREAT food. GREAT prices. GREAT atmosphere. And even GREATER service! Went here for the first time since our usual Mexican place, Guanajuato, was closed. Turned out to be a great decision. I had the raza burrito. It was huge and delicious. Perfect proportion of ingredients. So often, places will stuff burritos with a bunch of rice and sour cream to fill it out with cheap ingredients, but this one was absolutely perfect. Also had the mole enchiladas and they were PHENOMENAL!!! The staff was so friendly and attentive. Can’t praise them enough. Highly recommend this place. Parking: There’s a parking lot in the alley behind the restaurant.
Wanted to check this place out for a little while and I finally worked it into our group's schedule. Turned out only one other person was available when it was scheduled, but we had an absolutely lovely evening. The floor plan nicely keeps sound from traveling the entire length of the restaurant so we were able to hold a conversation without needing to repeat ourselves. Nice lighting, not real bright, but not so dim you can't read the menu. It WAS a bit warm inside, but I get it. It's 98 degrees outside. The back dining room could use more than one ceiling fan to get the air moving. Service was great. So friendly. So welcoming. And so accommodating. We didn't realize we were the last ones in the place until we went to leave and they had to unlock the doors for us to get out. I apologized for not letting them closed as we were just enjoying our conversation and dinner. They weren't irritated at all. Said it was no trouble. If they WERE unhappy and just not sharing, they hid it VERY well. They are such lovely people. The food is REALLY good. AND very reasonably priced. I ordered the steak taco salad and it was packed very nicely with STEAK, instead of mostly lettuce. Very nice balance. Fresh ingredients. SO much avocado. YUM. It comes with two sauces and the combination of the two is simply delicious. My friend ordered enchiladas and was very pleased with her choice. Will definitely go there again. Parking: There is a bus stop right in front so there is some street parking, but reduced. They do have a parking area in the back of the building with a rear entrance. Kid-friendliness: Definitely family friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: I didn't enter from the back so I am unsure it there is a ramp there. There is not one out front. There are several stairs to enter through the front door.
The food is very good. No issues there. The service can be a bit hit and miss sometimes. If even moderately busy it can be slow. But I also chalk that up to the food taking a bit longer because it is good quality. What I really dislike is the charge for paying with a credit card 4% I believe. I get it, but it's far more common to pay that way and I have a problem with getting dinged with that along with the myriad of other up-charges these days.
