Sammy's Beach Bar & Grill

Food was decent for being in the airport, but still pricey. I had the ono sandwich which lived up to its name but the fried were ok. Hubbs had the kalua pig taco which was also ok, the flavor really came from the smokey pig and a margarita to wash it all down. I had the "screaming" drink which was very good! Service was on point and did came out quick which is appreciated when catching a flight!

This is located in the inter-island area of the airport. The food is good and the set is quick. I had the chili which was a little sweeter than I like but had big chunks of hamburger and lots of cheese. It also had a side of tortilla chips which I used to give the chili some crunch. My wife had the Cuban sandwich with fries which she liked but came with sweet pickles which seemed unusual. At least they were on the side. This is a great place to relax between flights.

Food was typical for airport food. Menu was ok. Shrimps tacos were bland. Tortillas weren't even warm. They want you to use an app to order everything but it's super slow so luckily one of the waitresses who apparently is used to it being slow saw us trying to get our order in and came and offered to take it for us. She was great. Everything else is mediocre

Finally Maui is living up to it's reputation of being a great service oriented experience. As with almost all my reviews, it's the staff who make or break the customer service experience. From being greeted at the door, to being seated and serving our meal, we were impressed on all fronts. The staff were simply amazing .. so friendly, informative and helpful. If ever you find yourself in Maui airport, this is a place you should definitely checkout. They have surfboards on the ceiling of the bar! Highly recommend! Kid-friendliness: A great place to bring the family for a meal while waiting for your flight.

We enjoy the cold Blue Moon draft beer. Tasty indeed! The Sammy's Beach burger w fries was delicious. Good for us to share. The waitress helped us find a place to seat. It's a busy restaurant. It was worth the money and time looking out to the planes and scenery!Food: 5/5

Kicked up fries but with queso! Ask them for that substitution. It was delicious with steaming queso on top. Pina colada and guava martinis were decent too 3.5* - the latter was not overly sweet. Service was also goodthx Valerie.Food: 4/5

Ordering fron your smart phone was really convenient however if you needed anything extra there wasn't anyone to wait on you, only to bring you your food. Food was good airport priced but still really tasty. It came out extremely fast so thats a plus if you're in a rush.Food: 5/5
