Sandra's Cafe & Health Food

Staff is friendly but my lunch today (spaghetti and meatballs) had to be thrown out. Sauce was nothing but water. Meatballs were so overcooked they were tasteless. Perhaps a bad day; perhaps other offerings may have been better. I don't recommend.

Let me start with the staff, probably one of the friendliest in town. I never write reviews, but this place "had me at hello" Jerry Mcguire style. The moment you walk in they chant your name in excitement. Chicken Shawarma Tuesdays from Sandra's should be a national holiday. No one should work that day and stuffed themselves with this glorious plate. Its layback organic ambience is exactly what you need on a busy afternoon. The food is not only healthy but it tastes amazing. A big shout-out to this staff and their customer service.

My husband and friends love it here! This is a quaint and peaceful place I come to from Opelousas for prepared meals, groceries, vitamins and other products since my college days. Sandra's lunch is fresh, healthy and delicious. The people have always been so helpful and kind. I'm not sure how there can be less than a five star review on this place because they're the best health food store around in Lafayette in my opinion. Try it for yourself because you won't be disappointed!

I was visiting Lake Charles from out of town and searching desperately for a store that sells healthy food. A clerk at the grocery store told me to look in Lafayette. Wow, I am so glad she did. The store prices are like my local coop's sale prices. The people are so friendly and helpful. They even google searched for an item I was asking about. Go to this store, you will not be disappointed!!
