Whole Foods Market

Four stars instead of five because of the ridiculously high prices. With that said I have been looking for a store in Lafayette that sells Semolina Flour so I can make fresh pasta. They have it in the bulk section so I don't even need to buy a big bag of flour (that part of it would go bad). Lakisha was the young woman who helped me and she was absolutely wonderful. She was polite, friendly, and even went to make sure there was some in stock while I waited on the phone. A true 5-Start employee!

Firstly, why is whole foods the only major grocer that doesn't supply holiday hours? C'mon guys, that's what websites are for, that's just asking for a bunch of stupid phone calls. Secondly, I have been to this whole foods many times... it is clean and organized, but more than once I have found straight up moldy produce... the first time I was willing to overlook it as maybe it was just a one time thing, but the second time is too much. I really think that a supermarket that prides itself in fresh organic food should have higher standards in it's inventory. Not only is it a turn off to customers, but it will destroy the produce that isn't rotten. Other than that, this place is great.

The selection and quality of produce is great. The sushi is good for a quick meal. Their selection of Halo Top ice cream makes me smile. The total at the register usually hurts my soul as much as it does the bank account.

I went to look at their loose nuts after they were bought by Amazon, hearing that they lowered prices. Was not impressed. Nothing was particularly wrong, the store itself and the prices they set are still very expensive. It feels like you are paying to say that you bought it at whole foods instead of actually getting higher quality stuff.

We shopped at this location for the first time. Very clean store, and well stocked shelves. Very friendly cashier and fast service. Good hot and cold food options (we came in to buy lunch). We will certainly come here again if we’re ever in the area in the future.
