A smaller garden, but beautiful none the less. The Docents are extremely kind and knowledgeable. Both parts of the gardens are extremely unique. One side features plants indigenous to the area, where the other area features plants brought in during the colonization, as well as drought resistant plants and suggestions for landscaping homes in New Mexico.

Enter through the gift shop and maybe just hang out there. It is quite well curated. The garden is disappointing. Small is not the problem. It’s that they seem to have lost interest in planting.

Our botanic gardens are a must see for ideas regarding home gardens in Santa Fe and what can grow. It is so well kept and intimate ,with lovely views and sculptures.
