The Home Depot

I only visit The Home Depot in Santa Fe, NM in an emergency. Home Depot has pretty much everything I need, but WHERE can I find it? Today I wanted to reserve a small tiller for this coming weekend from their rental shop ... not possible! This is unheard of. Why in the world would a store not allow you to put down a deposit, to make sure you get the things you need when you need them? Otherwise you might show up, and sorry no tiller available. Oh well! This is Santa Fe after all, a curious little hamlet with lots of idiosyncrasies. As I said, only in emergencies :-(

Top Notch service above and beyond the Call of Duty today. I had wrecked my back and had to use an electric cart to pick up a large stack of cardboard boxes. After I checked out the cart ran out of juice right in the doorway. When I asked one of the ladies at the exit if they could page some help for me, guess what.JASMINE stopped what she was doing, grabbed one of the small flat carts, followed me out to my car and loaded everything into it. I have always had good service and helpful tips at Home Depot but Jasmine's willingness to help out immediately was an unexpected bonus.

Never doing business here again! We bought carpet for $1400 for 3 small bedrooms and the installers scheduled us a date (5/23/18), then never showed up after we took a day off from work to be there. Then rescheduled us for 2 days later (5/25/18) between 2pm-3pm. They came at 11 am when my husband was not home yet, just for me to be told that our flooring was bad, which it is NOT! It's completely solid & fine. My husband asked them to wait 15 more minutes so he could be there and see what they were talking about and they left with our carpet after I asked them to stay. Then we came to The Home Depot to speak to customer service and they basically told us that there's nothing that they can do about it. Do not buy carpet/flooring from here! It's a scam. Very poor service!

No one around for assistance! No check out was open except for self service and lines were long! The one cashier was rude and looked overwhelmed. Too many items/boxes blocked the isles in tile area. Frustrating! Dislike shopping this store because it seems disorganized and associates are usually rude and unfriendly! However, the garden section usually has a good indoor plant selection 😊

I have to call a different town to get answers. The Santa Fe depot should be shut down. It is the worst store I have ever been in or called. Even the manager is clueless, notice I did not capitalize home depot. It is not worth it. Drive to Albuquerque, they help customers. home dept is Santa Fe should be turned into a parking lot, thats all its good for. I am going to do my best to have the store manager FIRED!!!!
