Had a wonderful time in this store. The employee was very friendly and patient with my four and two year old. And I was there to pick up an online order of two books. But online it said one book wasn’t in stock. However when I got there it was. They were quick to work it out for me so I could take both books home Instead of making a second trip when the other book would have came in. Super helpful and greatly appreciated their willingness to help. Would recommend to all my friends.
I went in to Sarah's tonight to browse for some inspirational materials for my counseling practice. The older lady working long brown hair and glasses followed me around the store and then stood and stared at me for 5 minutes while I shopped. When I took the two items to her a journal and an inspirational quote book she asked for my gold card which I gave to her. She then asked for my credit card. I gave her my business debit card. She would not allow me to use my business card because I didn't have a form of identification showing that it was my business card. Maybe I should have showed her my business website with my photo on it. I don't know. I rarely go to Sarah's because I frequent Teresa's anyway. This just sealed the deal that I won't go back. I can't believe I couldn't purchase business items on my business card?? No logic and poor customer service. Not to mention she was rude and condescending. From one small business owner to another, you might want to train the staff in good customer service.
Poor customer service, very unwelcoming! Stopped in for a bereavement gift for a family friend today. The older woman working, with dark shoulder length hair was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. I asked if there were any memorial lanterns and she directed me to a regular lantern, which was not what I asked for. When I described that what I meant was, one with a candle that said, In Memory or something she wrinkled her nose and waved her hand and told me she had blankets. Again, not what I asked for. She was rude and off-putting, as if I was a bother. I would not give her or this store a DIME of my money and I will NEVER waste my time returning to this store. I left this store and immediatly went to the Hallmark store on 135 Theresa's....OMG! DAY AND NIGHT DIFFERENCE....They are soooo sweet there, very welcoming, greet you at the door, help you find what you're looking for, and tie it up with a bow LITERALLY!....P.S. I found EXACTLY what I was looking for there.

My brother passed away in Feb so me & my children came to this store on 05/07/20 to get her the BEST mother's day card they have cards for every occasion on top of that the customer service was extremely over the top which I loved the most
