Follow the smell of hot, fresh breads to Sarcone’s Bakery, the cornerstone of the South Philly neighborhood! We make everything from scratch using the same recipes handed down through five generations since we first opened in 1918.
Our breads are traditional Italian style, brick oven-baked fresh daily, from hoagie rolls to ciabatta and everything in between. We are also pleased to serve scones, cookies, and our famous tomato pie. Over the years, Sarcone’s been a staple in South Philadelphia not only for its bread but also for its integrity. This is a fact that we understand, appreciate and take very seriously. Our pledge is to continue to retain this lofty standard and to continue to raise the bar even higher in the future. We’re proud to be a family-run business, and with 96 years of honest ingredients and friendly service, we hope to continue to tradition for many years to come!
