Been going for years. Stopped In recently and glad nothing has changed. I probably haven’t been since 2022. Same great tasting food, good portions, and variety of options. I got the churrasco de pollo. Its two big chicken breasts comes served with two sides on top of bed of rice. Idk what they season the chicken with but it’s always extremely seasoned but not salty at all and very moist. The sides are good too. My favorites are the plantains, Brussel sprouts, and string beans. And i love love all the sauces the green is spicy and the best.
I ordered some simple black beans and rice. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. The rice is very undercooked. There are hard grains in every bite. The beans are very undercooked, some still have a crisp texture when you bite into it. Should have just ordered black beans and rice from Taco Bell.Food: 1/5
Best Peruvian charbroiled chicken! The chicken is so tender and juicy with the flame-grilled taste! We had half chicken with 2 sides and a 3 dark meat with 2 sides. Arroz chaufa fried rice is always our favorite! The price has gone up a little but still very reasonable! the server does not really speak English so it's abit inconvenient but otherwise everything is good! Parking: 4-5 spots
My favorite Peruvian chicken in Philly. Chicken is tender and the plantains are sweet and flavorful. Their dipping sauces are good too. I like the freen sauce. Highly recommend this place.Food: 5/5
Great spot! I came here for the first time last night and will definitely be back again. I ordered a half chicken, mashed potatoes and fried rice as my sides. The food was delicious with lots of flavor. There was an older Spanish guy that worked the register I didn't catch his name. He was so nice and welcoming. I didn't know what to order and he helped me with the menu. Hopefully, the owner reads this review and gives him a raise because he really knows how to treat customers good. The prices are reasonable too. I didn't think it would be enough food for two people but I was pleasantly surprised. I can't wait to try other items on the menu!
The mashed potatoes and gravy are delicious. The chicken is moist and flavorful. The Brussel sprouts are good, as well as the mumbo sauce.Food: 4/5
Sardi's is primarily a Peruvian restaurant. Their ingredients are first class. The way the food is cooked makes it especially delicious. All of the associates are friendly and try to help, but it's important to be patient at busy times.
Big S/O to Sardis for taking such good care of our softball team. Everything was great and Service was awesome. Much appreciated.Food: 5/5
The food is good just be prepared to wait at least 30+ minutes- Also be prepared for staff to speak about you in Spanish right in front of you not knowing if you understand or not. Needless to say I will not be returning. And neither will anyone in our local building that would order lunch daily. Good customer service goes a long way. I also work in customer service, and was very patient and understanding. When I requested for a refund they stopped speaking to me in English and started speaking bad of me in Spanish while I was still standing there, I understood every word.
We shared their lunch deal half chicken + two sides + two dipping sauces + drink, ordered an additional side, and an order of two cookies. Their fried yucca and chickens were so good! The plantains were on the cold side but thats kind of what you sign up for when visiting a place similar to Boston Market or Luby’s. The fried rice was good and flavorful! The cookies were a slight disappointment in that they weren’t sugary, but my partner liked that.
