Savannah's Candy Kitchen

Their orange sorbet and lemon sorbet are TO DIE FOR! We spent four days and three nights in Savannah and we stopped by just for this amazing sorbet! We actually stopped in on our way home, with our own styrofoam cup in hand, just for some sorbet to enjoy on the ride home! Simply amazing! UPDATE: They NO LONGER SERVE SORBET!! I'm extremely disappointed!! Savannah Candy Kitchen PLEASE BRING BACK YOUR SORBET!!! 😭💔

A sugar addict's Heaven and a Grandparent's Hell. That is, unless you enjoy kids bouncing off the walls in a sugar frenzy. Everything you see is eye candy and, well, really candy. You expect Gene Wilder to pop out as Willy Wonka any moment. Warning: Like everything else in the South, these sweets are really Sweet! Pralines, divinity, fudge, and ice cream are all universally loved safe bets. They also carry some of the Old School candies of my youth. I always stop by at least once when I'm in Savannah. At least once a day!

One-star for bad service. I wanted to make Easter baskets for my kids since we're away from home and I didn't want to go out of my way going to a Target, etc. It was almost closing time and the place was fairly empty but the young girls did not seem interested in helping me. I was told they could not do multiple small bags of candy for me, that they only have one bag size and it was bigger than I needed. I'm not sure why they couldn't be creative and come up with a way to bag/package multiple small amounts of candy for me. I finally decided complete baskets were too much for them and said I would just look around. When I was ready to place my order I stood directly in front of two employees for a long period of time before having to interrupt their conversation and request help. The candy really is delicious but it does not make up for bad service.

Just fine treats but not really flavorful more on the super sweet/fat end of the spectrum. And the popcorn is good but why should I find 3 full size nuts in caramel popcorn? I understand the risk of “contamination” which is clearly posted but this is not contamination... that’s just almost becoming a popcorn ingredient.

Gotta love candy! Watching them make taffy was fun. We bought some of the specialty candy apples for the family.
