Some dishes were better than others. Service was good. Location of restaurant was great, although there were no great views of NYC etc. Prices were reasonable. Overall, slightly above average. *Note: If you like your food, "Thai hot"..make sure they understand you're serious, or else the food will be "sweet hot" :-
Don’t be put off by the Thai/Chinese on the sign. This restaurant serves both Thai and very authentic Chinese albeit, more on the Chinese side but nonetheless great. Except for the Thai iced tea - it is made with heavy cream and not condensed milk as it is traditionally. By area standards this is a higher end option, honest, clean and good. It’s not fine dining but it is good solid classic Asian cuisine.
As expected so nothing surprising but as per location and decor felt like it should be better than what it is. I had much better Thai food and worst so this is mediocre. Pad Thai was ok and dumplings was not that hot. Broccoli was little old and not enough peanut crunch. So I say come here if not have better options than this.
Prices are a bit high for the quality and quantity. It is heavily sauced food and rough chops. BUT it's not terrible. If you're thinking about getting the Shu Mai, get the Hunan Dumplings instead. It's more pieces and bigger pieces of shrimp. The Ginger plate is a good option. The General Tso vegetarian version, stay away from it. The ginger plate is good. The Masaman Curry is a bit bland and more veggies than meat.
Food is always good but service is off, had to literally get up to order on a slow afternoon because they forgot we were sitting there perhaps and then became worst when manager was so rude when I declined to input my pin and requested they process as credit card for my security. It was beyond disappointing and embarrassing on his part while his staff seemed unfazed by his unprofessional tantrum. Will not return ever again most likely.
Amazing food at reasonable price. Lot of vegetarian options. Love the fried banana with ice cream.
Great food at a reasonable price! Sweet corn chicken soup is delicious!
We were charged a “service fee” of 18% for a party of 2 people when the menu clearly states that a service charge is applied for a party of 6 or more. when we asked to get the charge removed, we were told that the manager has “ordered” to put a service charge specially for us, cause we tipped “ONLY” 10% the last time. Even if that was the case, it should have been mentioned before. You just lost your regulars here. :
Nice & tasty food.. friendly staff.. amazing ambience ..& great maintenance
This restaurant SCAM!!! They put the 18% post tip amount on the usual pre tip amount place. And when you pay carelessly, you would give them additional tips on top of +18% total amount. Eg. our bill was $35 + $2.35tax, however, they put $44.04 on the “pre-tip amt” section.
