Scarlet Oak

Wow, Scarlet Oak Restaurant & Bar was simply something else. Moderately priced and quality. Pretty much every item that we purchased was incredibly fresh and tasty. Not to mention, the service was excellent and the staff was very helpful. Incredible! Will return and recommend that place always.

The food and ambiance were great. I enjoyed dinner with family and friends on the outside patio. We ordered the swordfish and purple potatoes pictured, the salmon entree and the pesto chicken pizza. The only downside to eating outside were the mosquitoes.

When this place opened, it was pretty good. Over the years, the service and food have gone way downhill. Not worth a visit.

This place is fine, there just wasn't anything particularly inspiring or unique about the menu options or the atmosphere. Hence an average rating.
