We started our firm in 1989 as young lawyers who thought we could do better and be happier on our own than where we were practicing in the more structured firms where we began our careers. We were fortunate then as now to have clients that like the way we do things, and who understand, as we do, the value in a long-term business relationship – particularly when it comes to legal counsel.

I sincerely can't thank Mr. Mike Schlueter enough! I happen to call his office after calling dozens of law firms here in the Springs with no help. Every single law office I called wouldn't take the time to talk with me or point me in the right direction of an attorney who could help, not the case with Mr. Schlueter. Mr. Schlueter spent over an hour on the phone with me, going over case material and explaining everything in great detail. He never charged me a cent and truly did this out of the goodness of his  heart. As it turns out Mr. Schlueter wasn't the specific kind of lawyer I needed but that didn't stop him from looking at my files, discussing everything with me and eventually referring me to one of his colleagues who was equally as wonderful. Even though Mr. Schlueter didn't represent me in this matter I have full confidence I would refer him to anyone looking for an experienced and thoughtful real estate/litigation lawyer!

Mike and his team helped us in dealing with a roofing issue/contractor dispute on our home.  We did a phone call and also had an initial consult with him where he reviewed our information/contracts, provided information on dealing with contractor disputes, gave us sound advice, and helped us think through next steps. We were able to quickly settle with the contractor and move on thanks to his help.  We would definitely use him again in the future if needed.  Highly recommend.

I needed help with a new home purchase and contacted Michael Schlueter. He clearly explained the best way to proceed with the purchase. He also raised a number of issues that needed to be addressed.
