If you want to have a headache and lots of stress, hire this company. They are good until you make de deposit. After that, they stop responding and in every occasion, remind you that you can get other service if you pay more money. I hire them for a very small move from USA to Europe. Every single thing went wrong. Because I had such small shipment, I decided not to pay insurance because they lied and told me that in the last 2 years no claims were made. When the delivery came to my house, my expensive belongings were wrapped on paper that was all tear out. Broken glass everywhere, packing was done just as if they wanted to make sure I regretted not getting insurance. Shipment was delays and I ended up having to pay import taxes. Daniel, always found a way to pass the blame on someone or something else. And of course, the fault was mine because of whatever reason. At the end, the fault was mine, I read the reviews and raised concerns about how bad they were but Daniel told me they are just from people who can’t be satisfied, and still I hired them. Stay away of this company and do yourself a favor. They are not cheap but surely a very expensive headache.

I had to ship some fragile, inherited furniture from Belgium to New York. I was worried about the summer humidity during transit, but Schumacher handled everything with care. They delivered on a Saturday morning, brought everything to the requested floor, and unpacked it. Communication for this international move was efficient. Highly recommend!

I actually had a wonderful experience with Schumacher! They were really on top of things, the pricing was really transparent and fair and overall easy to work with. Pretty much everything except for 2 martini glasses survived the transatlantic shipping, the only major thing that got damaged was a concrete coffee table but luckily I bought their insurance and am awaiting to process it.

It all worked seamlessly. From Oslo to Cleveland an entire living room set and a 10 boxes full of five generations of family memorabilia, china and crystal were delivered without a scratch. Once the shipment arrived stateside Schumacher stayed in constant communication. They even assisted me in answering the questions I had on the lingo on the forms needed to clear customs. Even when I got a bit frustrated their customer service support personnel stayed focused and shall we say, delivered the goods. The 18 wheeler driver on the final leg from NJ to Cleveland stayed in contact with me via email and then by text. Nothing rattled as they unloaded my items and grateful, I gifted them a pizza and baked them some cupcakes to take with for their next destination. As I unpacked I marvelled at how it was that what I had packed in August in Oslo, Norway had made its it's way across the Atlantic and was still intact in November when I opened the boxes. I do have to give credit to the Norwegian moving company and my husband's excellent packing skills but the glory goes to Schumacher Cargo for making sure it got to me in one piece.

Moving from Brisbane, Australia to Phoenix, Arizona USA, started off with Pickfords in Brisbane, but once portside in Long Beach, CA, Schumacher Cargo took over. I wasn't sure what to expect. We did purchase insurance. I felt like if we didn't, they might be less careful with our stuff. I didn't need it thought. The staff portside was very helpful. Willie organized my delivery. He took the time to listen to my schedule limitations and worked with me. Victor and his crew arrived smiling and were very kind, focused and we had a great time unloading my stuff. I asked them to sort it a certain way for my convenience and they were happy to spend the extra time to do it that way. I would definately use them again.

Our shipment of two households to Portugal has become a nightmare. Two containers under two different names had vehicles misplaced between containers. Customs held one container for over 40 days because of SCL mistakes. The second container still is not delivered! Over 48 days since arrival in port and I cannot get an answer or even contact to resolve these and several other issues. Horrible customer service at this point, lack of accountability, but great claims and assurances given to get our business. Utterly despicable conduct!

STAY FAR FAR AWAY! I wish I could give this place -10 stars. 1 star is giving them way too much credit. I hired a company from the UK to move to the US Pickfords International and got my boxes 12 weeks later, by boat, and with no communication once cleared customs. I had to call twice to get a hold of someone weeks after it cleared customs and they finally showed up with my stuff a week later with very little communication. Unfortunately when it showed up, 3 of the 5 boxes are completely water damaged and most of my stuff was ruined within it. They looked like they had been sitting in water for a while and everything inside was soaked. This is all irreplaceable stuff, and I unfortunately I opted out of insurance. I don't want money for the stuff to be replaced, because it can't be and it's all collector stuff or personal stuff that can't be bought again, but being made to pay for this service is insulting. The communication with them afterwards is appalling and rude and I now have 3 boxes of ruined sentimental and personal things that I had to pay them to ship to me. By far the worst company I've ever had to deal with. Again, I wish I could give them negative stars. Also - I highly recommend checking other review sites for reviews as well because a lot of these are obviously fake as well as the overall rating. You will see pictures similar to mine and more accurate reviews on the other sites.

Best experience every. We had our houshold moved from Florida to Switzerland. Everything arrived as packed. After a journey over the Atlantic Ocean via Ship and from Hamburg on truck to Switzerland.

I had a bittersweet experience with Schumacher Cargo Logistics, for a move from NYC to Europe. The pick up team was very professional and skilled. They packed up our belongings properly and quickly. My representative was helpful and responsive during the whole process. However, when in Europe, things did not well at all. The logistics company they partnered with was horrible to deal with, missed delivery a few times and made me miss a family funeral. I was really disappointed by the lack of support from SCL at the time, they just went radio silent and never helped me with my situation despite numerous emails and phone calls.

Great team of five professionals who picked our home up in Philadelphia and loaded it to be shipped to the UK. 88 boxes wrapped carefully and loaded in 5 hours. We have moved internationally before and the SCL team are the best we've ever had!
