Uplift Moving Company

This is my second time hiring Uplift and they were great again. Dior and his crew were very professional. They pulled off a miracle by hoisting our sofa over the 4th floor roof to get it inside because the stairwell was too tight. Very impressed!

We had terrible experience with them. They came and then cancel our move after 30 minutes and left us miserable. Business owner Kevin is fine but the guys who actually came for moving were very unprofessional. One guy just wasted half an hour in doing some paperwork. Paperwork is supposed to be done outside of this time. I don't want to pay for 2 guys per hour when one guy is just holding pen and paper. He didn't even touch a single box. He told us that they charge extra for mattress because they are bulky. I was shocked because owner didn't tell me this. Mattress are less than 200 lb and shouldn't be charged extra. Then he gave us incorrect information about the insurance. When I got upset that they are charging extra for mattress and about insurance, he got more upset and said we don't want to work here and cancel the move. Luckily I was able to find another mover within same day. The business owner Kevin did call me and mentioned that he can send some other guys. But it was already too late and we had finalized some other mover. If you are hiring them, do all the payment deal with Kevin and not with guys who come there.

They did an amazing job moving our 2 br apartment today for a local move in Tacoma! They arrived early, worked super efficiently, were super helpful and friendly, and had us completely moved into the new place within 3 hours. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Bonus is that their rates are a fraction of the price of their competitors.

Movers showed up 10 mins before scheduled time. They were respectful, fast and handled furniture carefully. Pricing is also very competitive.

I have used Uplift Movers twice, and they exceeded expectations both times. Eugene and his partner were very quick and efficient with today's move. The apartment building is a bit tricky and they handled it with no problem. After moving everything, they offered extra help setting up furniture or any other items I needed help with.
