Lots of good deals! Dealers are super nice and more than willing to participate in a little fun haggling!
Don Scott Antique Show had been fantastic in years past. Lot's of great antiques. We bought some antique pieces about 5 years ago and were looking forward to it today. The center of the building was completely empty and the building had only 60-70% capacity. A lot of booths were costume jewelry, flea market dusty merchandise, and beat up old stuff. Very few actual antiques and only 1 had antique furniture. So disappointed - we won't be back.
Overall, I'm glad we went to check it out. It seemed that there were a lot of flea market type items, though. Not exactly what I was expecting as it was our first time there. We did walk away with some nice finds though! Someone tried to steal my boyfriend's coat he laid it on the floor while browsing and talking to a vendor at their table. Luckily, they didn't get anything like cash, wallet, or car keys. And we found it dumped back off at the entrance after they didn't find anything in the pockets. Buyers beware of your surroundings & money!!! We did see cops patrolling the lots & walking around inside the building but still. Food court had minimal selection & higher priced food. Nothing great except maybe the cream puffs!
We attended the Scott's show this Sunday the 25th of Feb. We payed our $7.00 to get in parking , of which we should have received $5.00 of that back for the poor show they displayed today. We have gone to their shows for probably over 20 years and this has got to be the worst one I have ever attended. I know 3 people is not going to break your bank, but how many people that came this weekend feel the same way! R. Waugh, Hilliard
Has really gone downhill in the past few years. Management is mean & vindictive if you’re a vendor and not even worth going as a shopper anymore. Building is barely half filled & a lot of items being sold aren’t even in the realm of vintage or antique. So sad to see it shrink to nothing but maybe better management in the office could have prevented the travesty it is now…
I've been attending the show multiple times a year for 30 years. There's just mostly junk these days. Dirty random parts to things, trashy costume "jewelry," junky things that should never be sold, old/new toys, things like scentsy candles and beanie babies. There are a couple of booths with a few nice expensive things to look at, but I mean, it's a few. They raised the parking to $7 now, and I didn't find one thing to buy. I just don't see the reason to bother anymore. Frankly, I have far better luck on Facebook marketplace.
A flea market with an occasional antique. Nothing of quality; has steadily deteriorated each year.
I've been attending/exhibiting for years there but I don't understand why more of the Capitol City's millennials aren't shopping at the Columbus Show.
I wanted to go to the antique market but legitimately can’t find the parking, it is so chaotic and there is no sign for the event. Very disappointed
Nice varied show in a large venue. I believe more advertising could bring more customers.
