A true hidden gem with a marvelous "great hall". Puts Queens on the cultural map together with MoMA PS1 and the Noguchi Museum. Wonderful current exhibition by Berlin-based Henrike Naumann. Read the exhibition flyer to get the full meaning of the show.
Loved the center, I didn’t know how it looked inside or the exhibits. I’m a photographer so obviously I wanted to photograph the space! must go!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
The space is absolutely amazing. Multiple rooms, make it perfect for multiple artist showing, or multiple parts of one show. It was very inviting to me. I spent some time looking for a program. Also, it was opening day so it had many guests. Took my boyfriend and I about an hour to enjoy.

Wonderful urban oasis to indulge in sculpture works. Admission is free and just need to make reservation online. Highly recommend to check this place out when you’re in LIC.
Loved the space, not the exhibits. Sorry, they just did not engage me. The building was beautiful, brick, metal columns & doors. Light ,outside garden space. The cellar had little rooms and spaces that were great for displaying different exhibits. You could fee former fireplace spaces and mechanical areas. Again, really great space. Street level. I could see it being used for events.
I’ve been following the sculpture center for a couple years and finally made the trip to Long Island so I could visit in person. I was not disappointed. What a great space. I enjoyed the exhibition I saw while I was there. Great staff.
Surprising art in a surprising location and setting. Well worth a visit!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
They have an incredible exhibition space but I think the art shown could be much better. I don’t feel they take advantage of the possibilities of the building
Odd place. Let’s call it a gallery. There were 3 active ‘exhibits’ and we were done in about 15 minutes. The architecture is great and the basement was interesting. But to add bronze tools to it and call it a show was kind of humorous, especially one called ‘Closed for Installation’. ‘More or Less Bone’ says it pretty clearly. We did not connect with ‘Cadena Perpetua’ LOL. Well, always worth donating $30 to the arts.
