Worst mexican food I have ever tried in my life!!! I'm 100% mexican, and this doesn't even come close to fresh nor good mexican food. On top of that, the lady in the pic. was the manager, and I asked why I got like 7 chips in the bag. Then I asked the manager if I could get a few more chips or at least another bag with several chips and just stared at me. Them just completely ignored me and started helping out other customers. And on top of that, my meal was $17. I highly recommend anything but this place. It was worst than taco bell. Shake my head.

Awful food. They put a chipotle sauce on their carne asada fries. Asked for that not to be on there. They messed up. Whatever. This is my second time ordering from them and then did it wrong again. Secondly the amount of “queso fresco” is about a tsp if that. And probably 3 oz of steak at most. Last the portion size is tiny for the price. This is their plate compared to a salsa cup. Ridiculous

Didn’t have high expectations for this Mexican place in the Ala Moana first floor food court but was pleasantly surprised! Not the best but not the worst you’ll find on island … and they have mini plates, which you won’t find at many Mexican places here. You don’t get the choices of toppings with a mini plate, but it’s a great deal for around $10. You get rice and beans, and our choice of enchilada, soft or crispy taco, tamale, or 6” quesadilla - perfect sized lunch for me. Aaaaaand they have Ube Horchata. Again, not the best - I make a pretty good one - but not the worst. All in all, would definitely come back for lunch to try other mini plates!

Do not recommend this restaurant. Service need improvement as well as the quality of the food. I went here today for lunch. I ordered a carne asada fries. I didn’t know it comes with tones of cheese and salsa. I tough it was just the fries with chicken nothing else. I went back to jet them know I could eat cheese. The attendant wasn’t not too happy. She said it comes with all those things menu posted does not stay that They redid the fries, but the second time I picked my toppings. What a surprise the chopped tomato was rotten, smell and tasted weird. I ended up dumping majority of the food. Never again.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! The service is so terrible! I asked if I could pay with cash & debit which the cashier goes blank and says okay which she tells me to insert my card , I was so confused so I thought she knew what she was doing but NO! Manager came in and blamed me for the problem. No money back. The kitchen is disgusting! Found multiple of cockroaches crawling around throughout the sauce trails and walls. If Gordon Ramsay was here I would be dam well not surprised. The food is basic and bland. Pricing could be better including the diseases and germs these roaches are leaving. Will definitely not come back & not recommend!

I’m from Maui and whenever I have the chance to visit Honolulu, I would go to this place immediately. Their Birria Tacos and Quesadilla Birrias are so delicious! The consomé is full of flavor as well! Their service is amazing! Really friendly workers and really understanding. The Horchata is such a great combination with my food as well! This place is a must go! Thank you!

Food was good but not great. The portion of their taco bowl not bad.. but very not proportionate especially the lettuce so small like only 1 pinch. Server not well trained and the big lady helped in the counter and serving the food was so sassy. Over all, it’s Bad service.

The premium pull beef tacos set was very nice. All the salsa was brilliant, especially the Habanero. Will definitely come back for more. Thank you.Food: 5/5

Taste & size for price was great, but sad to see styrofoam still in use here instead of paper/biodegradable cardboard containers & staff should not be automatically filling food into single use bags & give cutlery without asking - most customers put bags straight in the trash after sitting in the food court & take more cutlery than needed. Plus side, easy to cater to vegan choices without meat & cheese. Would be great to see reusable tray, plate & cups in use at this & all places in the food court. I had the birria quesadillas without any sides. It came with 3 quesadillas that were really good. Their salsas that you serve yourself were amazing. They do not offer refills, which was a bummer.Food: 5/5
