This entire tutoring/ college advising operation is a scam- not one of them are educators- nearly all of them from the owner on down are failed former actors- except now they are playing the role of educators. And they charge astronomical prices for bad advice. Avoid at all costs.

Wow. My son, an honor student at a well known private school in NYC enlisted Sentia to help him bring up his ACT and SAT scores. Mind you, he had VERY good scores going into the tutoring. Senior year he is enrolled in 2 AP classes with above 90 average. After many sessions with Sentia and after re-taking both the ACT and the SAT, he barely went up in the ACT and actually went DOWN in the SAT. Their response was that he simply didn't do enough sessions. He did a ton of work between sessions on his own and we were incredibly disappointed. I think he liked his tutor but the tutor just did not work on his weaknesses which is why you pay these people. I would go with a private tutor and not Sentia if you are seeking results. NB: He did get into a top tier school but probably could have done that all on his own.

I am so grateful we met Billy and Sentia Education! His expertise seems to know no bounds, his help with all things related to 11th grade is immeasurable, he's a great guy and his staff is pretty wonderful too. I've never posted anything like this before, which in itself says it all. Ten stars!
