Spanish Blackbelt

Carolina is a great teacher. I started the class with very basic knowledge of Spanish. I knew a lot of words but unable to put them into sentences properly. During the class and the role playing exercises it helped me to think about how to speak. I've definitely improved and will continue to the next level.

I have taken the first level of Spanish Black Belt and it has been great. I love the one on one lessons and feel they help me learn quicker than other methods I have tried in the past. I like the fact the lessons are completed mostly in Spanish which allows me to work on speaking and understanding the language. I definitely feel my vocabulary and speaking skills have improved since beginning the lessons and I plan to continue with the program. My tutor Lorena has been great, she makes the lessons very enjoyable and has been very flexible with the schedule.

Extremely pleased with my Spanish Black Belt experience so far! I have just finished the first 8 week term and am enrolling in the next session. My tutor Angelica was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and great to learn from. Only having one or two classmates is also an amazing way to learn something as challenging as a new language. You are able to get individualized attention and move at the pace that you need, without feeling left behind. Highly recommended!

I've been interested in taking classes with Spanish Blackbelt since I first learned of them in 2011 when I got back from living in Spain. I wanted to keep up with and improve my Spanish fluency but somehow it took me until this year to finally sign up I don't recommend waiting so long!. I signed up for an 8-week course with a friend and we've both been learning a lot and having fun. I am very happy with the classes so far and both my friend and I are signing up for the next level and thinking about going ninja blackbelt-style all the way!

Learning Spanish has been a goal that has eluded me for quite a while. The fear of verb conjugation alone was enough to keep me procrastinating but I also had the "not enough time" excuse on standby. I am now two belts in and wish I had started sooner. The syllabus is easy to follow, I can set classes to meet my schedule, my instructor is flexible and the lessons are fun! I'm gaining confidence every day and now look forward to opportunities where I can practice what I have learned. I'm excited to continue my journey and recommend Spanish Blackbelt to anyone looking to learn the language!

I just finished my first Orange Level I beginner class with Nicolas. The class truly met my expectation and I plan on continuing my education. I would recommend that if you have not spoke Spanish in a few years start with the Yellow belt course. You will be required to speak Spanish the entire session and the Yellow belt will prepare you for the Orange Level and refresh your skills and build your confidence when speaking.

Just finished my first level white belt course. Didn't have many expectations going in. But was extremely pleased with the experience. There is a curriculum and material. But the material and even the hw is still centered around you having to speak the language in conversation. My instructor, Angelica, was great as well. Always willing to work around my abnormal schedule and was always positive and excited every class. She also made an effort to follow up with me between classes with emails regarding more content that I showed interest in, to help me practice even more by the next class. I would highly recommend this program to another person.

I just finished my first course with Spanish Black belt and am so thrilled with the progress I made with this course. My instructor, a native speaking Spanish woman, was able to explain all of the course material in such a clear understandable way and provide exercises for in and out of class that enhanced the speed of which I could understand and learn the material. Can't wait to start the next level!

I have been studying with Consuelo for the past eight weeks via skype and I would say my Spanish has improved at least two levels! Before I was so confused with speaking in the past tense and using the subjunctive, but Consuelo made it so easy to learn and use! I would definitely recommend Spanish Black Belt for anyone that is interested in taking their Spanish to another level and be able to communicate with native Spanish Speakers. I am going to continue studying with Spanish Black Belt as long as I can!

I have had a wonderful experience with the Spanish Blackbelt program. I have had two teachers both of who were wonderfully kind, warm, native speakers who were patient and extremely helpful in guiding me through my language learning. The program gets you speaking right away and encourages you to put what you are learning into real use. I have taken several levels and can't wait to take more!
