It was my first time purchasing any makeup and I was quite nervous; however, Nalai think that was her name helped me pick out a concealer, foundation/tinted moisturizer, and a moisturizer to help with my acne. She matched me on the first try of the concealer and foundation and was quick to help me search for what I needed. She was super resourceful and kind. She told me it was her 4th day of work and she honestly made my day.
I had a great experience here. I setup an appointment with Josie. Josie was awesome and explained everything to me and made my day a breeze. She even fit me in with a brow appointment. Def will come back. Thanks Josie!!
RUDE STAFF !!!! I was with my wife who was chooising items without any of the staff memebers asking us if we needed assitance. To the point where we would be next to an SA who would walk in the other direction. I have been to a sephora in different countries, this has got to be the worst experience yet.
At Sephora Fenway, beauty associate welcomed me to the store and asked if he could help me. I told him I need help finding a replacement for my defective Jouer beauty product that I was here to exchange. He informed me that his store does not sell that makeup brand, but that I could go to Prudential Center, Sephora instead. I told him that was a little out of my way and that I would rather just make a defective return if possible. He glared at me and said “if you want to”, and then proceeded in a mocking baby tone of voice said, “ if you truly wanted to help out our store then you’d be going to Prudential Center instead of making us do the return.” I proceeded to the front of the store made my return after leaving the store I cried due to how rude this associate had treated me, I have never felt so belittled or insulted or made to feel so bad at a store. I will not be going back to the Fenway Sephora.
I just had a wonderful experience at this location. A worker helped me as I was shopping for fragrances. They were very knowledgeable and friendly and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. 10/10 recommend!
The people who works here are the rudest people I ever met!! I was there today with my hubby, I asked to try a perfume omg ! The guy was literally rolling his eyes and was so rude to me for just touching it. A woman was running toward my husband screaming in his face for forgetting to put his mask back up while he drunk some water. She could have just asked home politely. No customer service whatsoever and no respect to nobody. Such awful experience. I will Never going back there and will not recommend to anyone!
Worst sephora experience. I love the brand, but every time I go this location just receive bad service. Last time one of the dependents was just mad because I decided to go with other brand and keep giving her advice even when politely let her know that already knew what I wanted to acquire and needed no suggestions but valued her time and effort. In that same visit at the moment of paying had to request my “birthday samples”, because the manager just wanted me to pay, and when asked about options he said they had non, when they actually had several once I started asking. I don’t know, probably the pandemic brought some stress into this location, but I feel is unfair to be treated this way in my visits so, not going any more.
I was greeted as soon as I entered the store. I was asked if needed help and I declined. I later did need help being matches to a foundation and I was happily helped. I didn't catch her name but she was very nice and helpful. She asked me my skin type and what type of coverage I was looking for. She recommended and tested three different foundations so I had choices. I bought some other things too and even the checkout was super friendly. I'll definitely go back!
I'm consistently amazed at how the staff here doesn't even try to hide the fact that they don't want to help people. There are a couple who are nice enough if you ask questions, but the rest actively avoid eye contact. It's stupidly cliquey and they manage to make me feel like an intrusive outsider. The security are friendlier than the staff. All except for a male staffer, whose name I really should know by now. Every time I come in, he's helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. As far as products go, this store is tiny compared to other Sephora locations, and doesn't carry much. On top of that, their storage space is small, so they run out of things faster than other stores. They do have a decent amount of the new promotional products at least, so a quick stop by can still yield fun finds. I want to like this location because it's so convenient, I can see its potential, but it has such a high school attitude.
Friendly and helpful staff. They help u find what you're looking for. They'll ask you the price range you want the product to be within. That's really good cuz most places just thrust you with some expensive stuff. They were not pushy at all nor were they coming after me asking what I'm looking for, unless you're struggling to find something. I like that space so I got enough time to explore everything in the store without being interrupted.
