Sephora

I gotta say, I’ve been coming here since this location opened and there’s a great vibe in there now ! Not so much in the past!. Everyone was very chill, helpful and nice. Shay Shae? helped me find my new lip color, she was so patient and pleasant to work with. Snaps for her, she is great. I worked in makeup retail for 7 years in my past and appreciate a good salesperson.

I usually go to the sephora in Jersey City, Newport mall, … i’m used to being asked if I need help, or if “I need anything let anyone one us know” etc. I went to the sephora in hoboken since I live close by … terrible mistake. The vibe was so different than what i’m used to. Entire staff saw that I was looking around for about 10 min. and didn’t even bother to ask if i need help. I made eye contact with some, and they watched me walk in lol. The manager with the brown/blonde dreadlocks looked at me then immediately looked away. I was in there for almost 10 minutes before I had to ask someone about a lip color i was curious about. I was heading out and overheard the manager and another employee saying something about me, it was so obvious. I’ve never been to this sephora before, and I was actually shocked how my first experience was in there. I guess i’m used to walking into the sephora in Newport Mall where employees see you looking around and ask if you need any help … not ignore and wait for you to ask them, then gossip while you’re leaving. I definitely won’t be returning again. it’s very unfortunate since I live near by. I will also be contacting corporate about this.

Love the store was very clean and amazing and . Jc was amazing and understanding and very helpful will highly recommend going to her.

Rosanna showed me a great selection of new fragrances I liked and helped me easily choose among them. I really appreciated that she wore a mask. Older review: Alyssa and Marguerite were super helpful. Good hygiene practices. Understandably, samples from open containers are no longer available, nor can you try on any of the testers.

Sephora Studio is a lot smaller than the regular Sephora so their selection isn’t that wide. They definitely don’t carry all brands, so you might want to call and check before you make the trip. But, the customer service was really great and everyone was helpful.

Love this Sephora! The staff are so friendly and so helpful. They are really knowledgeable about the products and have always helped me find exactly what I’ve been looking for. Although this is a smaller store, the quality of the staff makes every trip a stellar experience.

Great friendly service. They thank you for wearing your mask as soon as you walk in, give you hand sanitizer and have other measures to make you feel safe. They have a wide variety of great products and had a few sales. They offered to buy online and ship free too the house if interested for something they were out of... Outstanding.
