Made a reservation for full face makeup for my birthday and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Zoey was super sweet, she listened to what I wanted and executed flawlessly. I was so happy and I would definitely recommend her.
I give a 5-star to Stephanie who helped figure out the best product for my face. She was amazing, educating me on this one versus that one I have lots of questions about the chemicals involved, offered for me to try the products I was interested in. Stephanie was able to answer all of my questions. She was very welcoming, smiled the entire visit, and took the time to explain certain things that I was unaware of. I appreciate that so much; made me feel like she truly cared about my skin. I was only able to get one product because she was pulled for another client before finishing our consultation. Hopefully, she’s there again this weekend and has more time to spend with me and my questions. It is common at this particular store to feel rushed but I found someone who seems to really be interested in helping clients achieve our skin goals and maximize our beauty. The product I did get from her recommendation has made obvious changes thus far. Thank you so much Stephanie for your time and experience!!!!! On another note, cashier made a fantastic impression of McDonald’s drive thru employees while checking me out. Completely uninterested. There was no “Hi, how are you?” Nor a “Thank you” or anything of the sort. Though, she did remind me of my birthday gift.
I got to Sephora at 6:38 with my daughter. I understood they closed at 7 so I decided to just make it quick because I know employees are ready to leave. I looked around but everyone was occupied so I was patient and waited. My daughter then saw a lady so we approached her and asked if she could please help me find an eyeliner real quick, one that doesn’t run and she said well we close at 7…..I said I’ve been waiting patiently for someone to free up but no one has been and she rolled her eyes and scoffed….my daughter and I just looked at her cause I was surprised like we’ve never had anyone be rude like that especially what we spend at this store and the amount of times we come. So I told her forget it I’m good cause she realized she was in the wrong. I found someone else and she was the sweetest and helpful, her name was Jazzy. She helped me in less than 5 minutes. I got the KVD pencil. Anyways come to find out the woman being rude to me was the Manager, her name is Kelsey. When I walked out with my daughter I told her it’s sad that her employees were so kind and helpful and PATIENT but the one that was rude and disrespectful was the manager herself. She looked at me and with the most sarcastic voice so oooohhh I’m sorry…..sorry for your experience…. I’m like YOU were my experience..is she serious? Everyone else was great and I told her she shouldn’t be working here if she doesn’t have the patience for it and is going to treat customers like this and she chuckled and continued with her sarcastic sorry. My daughter is 14 and kept saying mom she’s the manager! Like how is she acting like that???? Well sweetheart I’d also like to know.
I visited this location two days in a row and each time I was met with great customer service by the African American lady Lex! Initially when I walked in on July 17, 2021, the door greeter nor any of the sales associate even asked if I needed a shopping bag for products. Jessica African American lady asked if I needed help, then Lex helped. Lex was extremely helpful throughout my entire shopping experience! I had the pleasure of seeing Lex again today and I would like to say that if you go there, go to Lex for service! She actually cares about the customers!
Hello, I’m writing this review just to acknowledge the managers of this store about one of the employees name Danielle, who was extremely rude, unprofessional and arrogant with me and my boyfriend’s mother. We went to buy a specific products and unfortunately we ask for assistance to this lady, who from the beginning had the worst attitude. I just moved to New Orleans from NYC and I have been a Sephora costumer for over 10 years, and I was very used to the Welcoming, helpful and professional staff in NYC. However today DANIELLE, was extremely arrogant, telling my boyfriend’s mother that she is a makeup artist and that she knows about brands and make up. She kept pushing to get the brand that she suggested , with out explaining facts about the differences between different brands, her tone was very arrogant and rude in my opinion to talking in that way to a 80 years old lady. I disagree about treating costumers like that, she is there to support and help not to go over people with a rude attitude, that is ignorance, lack of respect and manners. In the other side Jacques was the most helpful and informative person in the staff, who help us to pick the right face cream and other products, girls in the check out very nice too.
the store was nice, but one of the employees was extremely rude to me and my friend. she asked us to move out of the way. my friend is handicapped and has walking difficulties. the lady was very rude and condescending. i ended up not buying anything and put up everything i was about to buy. the other employees were very nice and patient with us, but it made me very upset that that one employee didn’t show any empathy.
The store manager and her unhealthy accomplices are prejudice / racist. They definitely make a difference in the way they treat ppl with melanin i think her name is Rebekah or something like that. They’ve been like this for years but it’s worse they probably hire black women to give them a hard time and feel some sense of superiority bc the only since of value and belonging they feel is at the lakeside mall very miserable stinky life for miserable deplorable ppl.
Nice store as a whole, but really what made my experience amazing was the manager Kelsye F. She is amazing and truly one of the few workers at Sephora that takes customer service seriously.
Easy in and out. The only issue is when you need something that’s not on display. My friend picked up a lipstick that had a defect in it that made it look empty. She asked to get another. Instead of the associate getting another lipstick, she went to another associate who then went to a manager for an opinion. About 5 minutes were wasted when a new lipstick could have solved everything. I’ve never had any issues here so 4/5
The staff is very welcoming and everyone is very positive here
