Walgreens

4th car in line at drive-thru and been here over 20 minutes. Ne car at window for 14 minutes. I'm not understanding why the person working has to conduct business at the window instead of having the customer come in. Just so stupid.

Constantly out of meds and refuses to call to inform you the meds are not in stock so you can try to look around. They expect you to call and be on hold each day to find out if they can fill you meds or not. There is literally no way anyone with a job can sit on hold as long as those calls take. Such a joke. The only reason I still use this pharmacy is because of my work hours making it hard to use other ones.

Last year around this time Labcorp was pretty efficient and helpful during my employment process! I usually frequent the CVS closer to my home but while out, this store was closer and it had exactly what I needed. Prune juice and some stew for this cold.. cashier was friendly and made my checkout a breeze!

Both this one and the one on Clearview at Airline closed early on the same night due to staffing issues. Bad look when 2 of the 3 *24-hour* Walgeeen's in Metairie are closed at late hours.

I went today to pick up a prescription for a family member of mine. While I was waiting I see there is an older lady having issues getting her prescription. The person who was helping her was named Albert. So he couldn't help her due to insurance issues. When it was my turn Albert typed the wrong date of birth told me and my family member I can’t find your information. Medication wasn’t sent. I understand anyone can make mistakes while typing he didn’t want to help at all. I decided to take attentions I called the Urgent care of course they had send the prescription at 12:45 through E script. When I went back to tell them again. Thank goodness to a very helpful person name Ayesha. She found the information. It’s ugly when we have people who doesn’t do their job right. It wasn’t hard to look the information in the system. We are customers and patients at the same time we are buying. We shouldn’t be treated that way. Thank you Ayesha for your help.

The checking out experience was poor. There was a cashier standing there but she was on break. The actual cashier was doing something in the photo area. It was not working properly so it was taking long. When the line was 5 people deep, she gave up and came back to check people out.

This is the most ugliest people in the pharmacy I have ever met in my life. They are a hair shy of telling me to F off. They play stupid and only get half your scripts ready. These people are the worst

Pharmacy refused to help customers at 6:45pm on 1/06/2022 even though they don’t close until 7pm. There was no extenuating circumstance furnished. They just said they were closed and weren’t getting anyones medications. Update 11/6/2023: still horrible. So bad I walked out of the store without my medication after waiting behind only 3 people for over 30 minutes. After cancelling my prescription, Walgreens pharmacy marked it as filled so I couldn’t get my prescription anywhere else until the end of the month. Possibly a mistake, but seems unlikely given thei history. Note to Walgreens, if people don’t want to work for you, increase your pay. It’s your fault.

Went there today for cold medicine. Horrible customer service at the checkout. Left there items right at the register. Will not return to Walgreens again because of it
