Jason is honest, at the top of his game, highly recommended by Campagnolo and his prices are very reasonable. I will continue to bring my bicycles and business to him for maintenance and repairs.
I had an amazing experience at this establishment. Customer service is on point. The owner knows his stuff for sure. Its very clean and organized. Ready to help any walk in customers. Service was surprisingly quick. If anyone needs help with their bike, I recommend trying this first over everywhere else.
We're lucky to have SCCS! This shop is a gem. Rebuilding my drivetrain, I needed Campy C-rings, Campy c-ring bolts, impossible to find elsewhere. Jason had them in stock- 50-36. Also Campy brake springs, in stock. All prices absolutely good! There are many shops closer to home, but I checking here first. Also use his website to send a message if you're looking for something or need to now what the turn-around is for repairs. Jason is the real thing, a trained, polite and efficient mechanic!
When you take your bike to a shop to be worked on, there's a couple factors that really make a difference. SCCS got five stars in all of them. Honesty: If you walk in with unknown variables that need to be fixed or changed, you worry. Jason did the work that was needed and even extracted a stripped crank bolt that I thought would be impossible. He advised me against the parts I brought in to be installed, because they were either incompatible with my frame or not even meant to work together. He found a solution that would work short term and long term, and be easy to replace when worn down. And for a price that was actually less than my projected cost. Reliability: the last thing you want to hear is that your bike isn't going to be ready when promised, for some thin excuse. That didn't happen. Dropped off the bike and parts, explained my goal, and let Jason evaluate the situation. Came back to approve his recommended tires and he was ready to suggest an equipment setup that would work. Approved it, he ordered it, and it was installed soon after he got it. Experience: It's not hard to tell when someone is blowing hot air about things they aren't qualified to talk about. That's not the case with Jason. He is careful and meticulous in limiting speculation in favor of facts. Another big positive is the shop setup. It has history. It's been in operation long enough to need remodeling Respect: you DO NOT want to walk into a shop where a bunch of kids are pretending to work, and see their eyes evaluate your marginally-better-than-walmart ride with unconcealed scorn. Jason didn't. He checked it out and made suggestions to improve it further, instead of just saying "You know what, I've got a beater here I can sell you". I like my frankenbike, and I want to keep upgrading it. It's a project. I don't expect anyone professional to actually LIKE it, though. It's more than enough if that professional gives me the help I need, with honesty, reliability, competence and respect.
Excellent service, I have finally found a trustworthy bike shop where my bike can get fixed up AND I can learn how to better care for it. As an avid cyclist, the shop & owner are a lifesaver. Would highly recommend!
I went here in hopes of my bike being in good hands and is sure was jason is your guy he knows what he’s doing and he’ll try to save you money would come back here
Superb service! Jason's knowledge, pricing and turn around times are like no other. We've taken our road bikes as well as our mountain bikes for tune-ups and for parts to be repaired/replaced. Your bike is in good hands at this bike shop.
I know nothing about bike maintenance and am super thankful to have found this place. Since buying a folding bike I've had multiple repairs. Jason is very responsive, willing to work with my schedule for drop off and pick up, and is very fairly priced. He fixed things I didnt even know needed fixed. Excellent customer service. I will continue to return!
Highly Recommended this place if you need any bike maintenance! I called in this weekend to see if they fix any punctered bikes for my daughter's bike.
