We had mold. It was the white powdered type of mold. This company was hired by the place where I/we used to live. We lost over 75% of what we owned because this company said it needed to go. Team 1 came in, threw out so many of our items some because it was deemed cost-effective, this means that it cost more for them to clean it, so it gets toss. Fans, broom, wastebasket, plungers. Even sleeping bags with no mold. I spoke with a local cleaners and showed pictures of the clothing. I was informed that they could clean the clothing. The end result things got trashed. I was NOT allowed to be around while they did the mold remediation. We returned to our place. The items still had powered mold, so a 2nd team came in to do the cleaning. Because of team 1, my remaining items were deemed as cross-contamination. The second time I insisted on being around. I am not accusing, just that I could not locate some of our things as they had to have been tossed before team 2. I even witnessed one person getting excited over one of my baskets. Either way, this is my story and my personal experience with this company, which for me, was not good at all. In my personal opinion, I say do your research. I lost things that had more of a sentimental value and now I/we are starting from scratch. If they had shown me the things they considered cost-effective, we would have cleaned them ourselves. Mike came to our home to inspect for mold because our daughter had been sick for a while. He was very thorough and detailed and explained everything to us while he was doing the inspection.
