Shanghai Cafe

The food here is absolutely amazing! The service is impeccable as well. They're going through an exciting new remodel right now... And I believe they're going to be open in 2 weeks... So excited to go back!

You can't beat Shanghai for vegetarian deliciousness. Their tempura, and their veggie "chicken" are the go to items. Don't go there for the service, they're very efficient but not the typical friendly wait staff. They recently remodeled so now the atmosphere matches the great food. :)

This is usually one of my favorite places for affordable curry and Vietnamese noodle salad. They were great when I brought my very large family to dine in. I had to knock off a couple stars because our last takeout order was so bad. They put shrimp in our pad Thai, which I could not eat because of that, so my boyfriend had it and let me know the shrimp were overcooked, and the spring rolls were gross and tasteless. They consisted of plain noodles, blanched flavorless pork, and a giant piece of lettuce that really should have been chopped or shredded or something. No sprouts, herbs, veggies, or anything else you'd expect in a spring roll. I threw half of mine out, and since their phone lines were down I couldn't even call to have them remake it and didn't want to spend another hour driving back, explaining the errors, waiting for the correct order, and driving home again. I will stick to the dining in and will certainly avoid the spring rolls in the future.

Half the menu is vegan!!!! The satff know what is what!!! Casual but classy. Curry was awesome! I'm so happy we found this place. Great prices.....! Going back. Love the hours also.

Lunch was not expensive at all, but it is your typical overly sweetened Americanized Chinese food. They also have a fewThai food options to choose from. The waiters are Thai, but it is supposed to be a Chinese restaurant... kind of strange. Anyways, not bad price but as a native Chinese, I don't really like their Chinese dishes. *update, I tried their curry and it was actually really good! **update again, I have been here maybe 8-9 times now, and it has always been very good. Photos are the Singapore noodles (highly recommended), walnut shrimp (also very good), and their Vietnamese pho.
