Sheridan Technical College

I have been coming here for 5 1/2 years now and was truly impressed the first 4 years for the quality of service. I have always had the Keratin treatment done with high expectations and results based on how the teachers get involved and the thoroughness on the process while, again, the teacher explains the steps and techniques. The treatment then will always last me up to a year. Yet, unfortunately the last two times I've had been coming to a class on Wednesday afternoon where I noticed the teacher was totally disconnected and the students appear to be given vague instructions on how to apply the Keratin. It could of been that the class may be full, or there are many customers at the time, yet I was surprised she doesn't even do check points through the long process of the treatment to see i.e. has too much product been applied, how far from the root, in what order is it being applied, are they using the right tools, how many times do you flat iron, etc. I find myself having to guide them or ask them to go to the teacher so there is no confusion or me misleading them from what they were taught yet from what I observed the teacher doesn't even come to oversee or validate the inquiry, basically gives them bare minimal instructions. I would suggest this teacher to reach out and mentor these students more so that their investment is well vested and they can leave prepared for the real world. All students, no matter how well prepared are or if they lack the technique still need supervision especially during chemical treatments. In view of this I will have to contemplate looking into a different schedule and/or day to attend to prevent having any uncertainty of the outcome of the services. I would of given the College a five (5) star otherwise because my experience on other occasions has been of full satisfaction! great pampering, great prices, great students, great comfort and great teachers. This is a constructive opinion. I highly recommend this beauty college as a great service center.

We have spent the past one and a half year in this "college" and it has been the worst experience ever. We go to the class to stare at each other's face and phones without doing barely any work. Graduation is supposed to be in June, but how everything looks like we won't finished till maybe August if we are lucky. This is the most unprofessional educational facility ever. Doesn't even deserve to be called a college at all. Be wise and pick some other facility to pursue your professional path because here you wont be able to accomplish anything.

I haven't started class yet due to diffilcuties getting financial aid (in process) but I just feel like saying that the school counselor Jessica clark is truly a blessing for that school, she goes well over and beyond, she is passionate, smart, and generous in her counselling. Thank you Jessica
