This is the best shoprite I have ever been to. All of the employees seemed to be happy at their job, were willing & happy to help, friendly and looked as if they were having fun. The store was faced, clean & gorgeous on a busy Sunday morning. Food was stocked including sale items! Great job!! Beautiful store, your manager should be very proud. Good to see employees taking pride in their work, makes customers want to come back & shop! Thank you for the great experience. I was very impressed!
I placed an order that needed to be delivered during a certain time period tonight. I received updates about numerous items that could not be found. I finally received a call almost 2 hours late to advise that the delivery truck was inoperable but the refrigerated and frozen food, ice cream, fresh fish and poultry could remain on the truck and be delivered tomorrow morning. I advised that was unacceptable to remain on the truck and then was told the $400+ order had not yet been selected and was actually still in the store. The treatment was incredible. Not the customer service or respect I would expect from employees of Jeffrey Brown. I called the store and asked to speak with the manager. The same male who called and was less than truthful with me answered the phone, He responded that the manager left early and that no assistant manager was working tonight. I asked to speak to whoever was in charge. I was put on hold for over 30 minutes. I hung up. I had already canceled the order but my credit card on file was still charged. It's one thing to have technical issues, but dishonesty is inexcusable.
Highly disappointed that self check out is no longer a viable shopping option if you have more then 30 items. Have your products crushed by the cashier is your only option. Was told today that 30 is the limit and was harassed about checking out with 42 items despite the fact that the store was not crowded and there was nobody waiting for service. My last time shopping here despite the great prices. I'll go to the other location for better service.
Was waiting about 5 min to be serviced at the seafood dept when I noticed there were 3 ppl working in the deli dept right next to me. I called the store to make sure the seafood dept was in fact still open and was told that the worker was just on break. All that was said without me even advising that I was in the store… I was then told that the worker does NOT have to place a sign up letting the shoppers know that they are on break even tho the break can run for at least 20 mins. This is a huge inconvenience as I could’ve continued my shopping and doubled back. I was not told how much longer the wait would be and this is in fact the last stop I had to make before checking out. It has now been 15 min and the worker still has not returned.
Today around 11:11am I was doing a self check out sorry but didn’t notice this location posted a 30 item or less sign . Employee stated the 30 item or less but I was already there and honestly I just had very small items and a bunch of bags under the merchandise due to the plastic ban in philly . Another employee came over to her and said did you not tell her 30 or less and they kept on taking and saying a lot of unprofessional things in front of me. So I stated “ if that’s the case I will shop at Walmart next time” . The employees response was “yes who cares shop at Walmart next time that’s better do you “ . They should be trained to tell customer the new policy and say next time please use the cashier line instead . So shocked on how poorly these employees are trained you should never bad mouth any customers in front of them. I spend over 600 dollars in groceries a month at this location very sad to pull my business from this location .
I appreciate that they always have enough TH Diet decaf orange iced tea.
Cashier Was absolutely miserable today, on Christmas Eve. I work in retail and I get sometimes people have bad days. But come on!!!! Unreal the people you guys hire.
My Brother purchased this cake and asked for theses words to be put on the cake. I feel like if the employee couldn’t have done better than this , then he should not have wrote this because it looks bad. Would you present this to your Family? We were grieving my deceased Sister’s birthday and she loved to play Bingo.
I liked going to this place it is always clean and there food u can get to go are very good plus the staff members every nice.
Was great. Got everything I need. Didn't have to wait long in line either.
