A great open air venue that provided the perfect setting for Google I/O 2018. The Amphitheatre itself is large and the fact that there's lawn seating is really cool as well. The seats were not too comfortable but they provided a lot of space for those carrying a ton of items, and there's even drink holders. The Live Nation staff were polite and helpful when needed. Hope to attend many other events here in the future to see how they utilize the space.

Great place for events/concerts. Only the front few rows are under the gorgeous tent cover. It’s open air. If you have little ones or hyper-active, oozing with energy and/or restless kids, buy the lawn tickets. They are cheaper and better for large groups to mingle and for kids to have a ball running up and down the lawn slopes. It’s more like a picnic area with a view of the concert through the big screens.
Check the weather before going and carry throw blankets & jackets accordingly. It gets quite windy/chilly at night for the most part of the year.
They usually have good arrangements for drinks and food but the lines at the restaurant/food trucks can be very long. Do carry light snacks with you.
The security guard at the gate threw away my Diet Coke cans during bag check. Picnic/beach chairs with rounded edges are allowed. Other chairs are not allowed and there are no lockers. Strollers are not allowed unless you can get them to make an exception.

I am just rating the amphitheater... first parking is confusing. Second if you are not in the know it is a disappointing start to getting in. We were an hour early, got in line a waited. A second line started to form, the line for that have been there before and paid the $5 for the fast track or had a AAA. Good for them, we watched as over a couple of thousand people passed us, there was no option to buy a fast track pass if you didn’t know about it earlier. Only a 40 minutes after the gates open did our line start moving.... this as to say the least a bit frustrating.
The seats are nice, good leg room .... unfortunately the seats are in a straight line and I was just unfortunate enough to have the only one who stood through the concert right in front of me dancing .... I was glad she was getting some exercise as she was a bit on the plus size for a Layne Bryant customer. Unfortunately I could not see the stage for the night. At Concord Pavilion they at least have screens on the side so that you can see the stage if it is blocked in front of you.
Food was only okay and that is excluding the price, for the price it was poor. Drinks were ballpark price.... fairly pricy.
Good acoustics, not much for weather protection from the environment.
Overall pretty poor experience for the first time. Like Concord Pavilion better, if they can combine the best from both ... it would be good.

It's a great place for concerts. The big lawn is a great place to sit with families. They can easily accommodate 5k+ people. Things to eat or drink are slightly expensive but reasonably priced for a concert. Food trucks are a great and offer a good set of options for all ages. Do pack blankets or jackets as it can get chilly at night.

I really enjoy watching shows in this venue. The general admission lawn area is a constant stream of interesting people to watch and it has a wonderful feel of community. OK to bring small stadium seats for a more comfortable experience, or you can just rent them at the venue. Hope to see you there!
