I have been a patient of Dr. Schulman for many years. He’s thorough & I trust him. My problem is contacting the front desk. The voice message states that the staff are on lunch break until 1:30 PM, w/the option to either leave a message on the machine or, in an emergency, talk to the answering service. It was impossible to “leave a message”. I tried calling to tell them I’d be a bit late for my 2:30 appointment today. I’ve been calling the office every 45 seconds for 45 minutes 1:30-2:15 & cannot get through! I searched for an email address. Nada. Thus, I’ve missed my train & my appointment. This is no way to run a business!! A doctor should Always have some mode of communication open aside from emergencies - Pandemic aside which is the reason given, for the office being closed until “1:30”.
Julius Shulman is one of the best doctors I have been to- thorough/ professional/knowledgeable and a great person- went to him for many years and then I moved out of the area but I always had great experiences-!!
Stay away from him. He just wants to take your money and give you lasik even if you're not a good candidate.
The best in the city !
