Sierra Trading Post

After shopping the catalog for years...To go in their store and see all the products, in it so well laid out... All the bargains and more on their sale racks. Love that place Your location in Cheyenne is open and easy to find.

The selection is smaller than I had expected given the size of the online retailer. However, all your basic camping and fishing equipment is present. There are tons of discounted and clearance items as well, it's definitely worth it to stop in and take a look around.

We have always loved to stop enroute west at the Sierra Trading Post and look at the 3rds and 2nds that they carried. They are upgrading their store and no longer carry those. They do have house decor and the usual camping and outdoor clothing with footwear. Unless you're looking for something in particular, it's much harder to find good bargains.

Very odd place. 1st of all, very hard to find how to get into this place. The lit up sign faces the highway but nothing on the back road that you drive on to get to it. I'm from out of town and didn't even know what the place was. If there was better signage, they'd get a LOT more customers! I did however get a Coleman thermos at a great price.

Friendly staff with a lot of great camping/outdoor gear the choose from. I especially love the clearance items! The coffee and hot chocolate was great, too!
