Come out of the cold and step inside this iconic landmark of St Johns. Here you’ll find the best pizza in Portland. Take out works well. You have to call the number listed on Google. The pizza will be ready in about 25min. Extremely reasonable pricing. They have drinks soda, beer, wine if you need.
Pizza dough was light—and crunchy. Ordered two pizza slices and a beer for under $12. Pizza slices are huge, I couldn’t finish my second slice. Will be back for lunch again.
This is my favorite pizza place in all of Portland. Their gluten free pizza crust is amazing! Everyone I've gone with also raves about the gluten crust too. Great ingredients and sauces. Also the staff is always so nice. Great place all around. I was so excited to eat today I forgot to take a pic before digging in.
Really friendly service but the sauce and dough need a lot of improvement. I Don’t think it was the fact we ordered from the slice pies but was more of ingredients issue. Pepperoni slice was fine but cheese slice could not hold up on its own. Kids liked it though!
they have gluten free crust, which was really good and cooked well. they also have an option where you can turn a pizza selection into a calzone. and they have RC Cola, which made this former Chicagoan very happy.
Maybe I caught them on a bad night? I ordered a large pizza to go. Unfortunately, the dough in the middle of the pizza was completely raw - an area about the size of a coaster. I tried to salvage it in my home oven, but no luck - we ended up tossing most of it we nibbled around the edges and they were just OK. I love pizza and I don't think I'm very picky, but I do like it to be edible. The location is cute and has a great mural with all outdoor seating, picnic tables, some covered. Most folks were eating slices, so maybe that's the way to go.
No frills pizza joint set in old gas station. Pizza was good, salad was tasty but service was a little slow, as there was only one person working doing everything! Plenty of outdoor seating with some shaded spots. They did not have Parmesan cheese, napkins and a few other condiments and I did not ask guy working the counter as he was overwhelmed while we were there. Not sure if the norm is to have only one person doing everything or if they were missing some staff that day. If fully staffed, I would give 5 stars.
4.5 had a salad before. olives in caeser? no thanks but it was good nonetheless chose wings this time. very well dressed and not thrown into the box like many places do. i think it was 12 pieces for like 7$ maybe. too nice to pass up tbh. the "'za" is good. crust has nice bite. travels VERY well. even the day after it isnt too chewy i always leave leftover pizza just to test cold vs hot but feels more like a baguette, dense but flavorful. same as last time, the sango sando/sandwich just felt like it is a messier version of the pizza. like a more inconvenient way to eat pizza. idk menu is vast. options are varied. u can literally mod everything. so go crazy
Pizza was super good! Glad me and my dad stopped by. Cool place to sit and eat.
The pizza and calzone were great. The staff may have been a little fresh, since they were lacking some essentials for dine in empty napkin holders, no utensils, etc. Otherwise, damn good food.
