Speed is what this practice prioritizes. For a check up and cleaning you will be in and out within 25 minutes. Though they’re doing their job - it does not feel thorough by any means. The hygienist does the majority of the work while the dentist will do a very brief once over. I’ve never had the same dentist twice after multiple visits - which has resulted in mixed feedback or questioning of what was previously documented. If you want to “check the box” of going to the dentist - these are your folks. If you want to actually take care of your teeth/mouth - likely best to find an alternative spot.
If you are looking for a new dentist, look no further. I had such a great experience at this practice. They were kind, communicative, very competent and quick. I was in and put in an hr with two fillings and a cleaning. The staff communicated everything they were doing, how much it would cost, how long it would take and even during the procedures told me what to expect. If you get nervous at the dentist, you know how important this kind of communication is. Overall, a 10/10 experience and I will be making thia practice my go-to.
I receive great care each visit -- I recently went in for a scheduled cleaning and complained about sensitivity. Dr. Lam identified the issue and refilled old fillings within 30 mins. The whole experience was so quick and painless. Great staff as well. I have new dental insurance, and it was already updated before I even went in. I recommend this spot for anyone looking for a new dentist in Graduate Hospital/Point Breeze.
After three visits with Dr. Lam and very friendly technical assistant, I walked out with a brand new tooth. Or at least it felt like that. It was actually a crown on a cracked tooth along the front. Both Dr. Lam and her tech assistant together worked as a close teem to see not only that the work was getting done but also that I felt no discomforts while they were doing what seemed like open heart surgery. If I had to see them for any future work, I would not hesitate to call. Also, the office staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Beware of a clinic named 'Smileteam' @ 1500 JFK Blvd 19102. They are butchers. I had my first and last visit with them and it was a frightening experience.
Update: I've been here three times and have had a great experience twice and one okay experience. I don't know them and am not a friend, just a customer, and would still give them 5 stars. The first time I went was above the top amazing, and honestly I had a great time this most recent time. The wait was a little long to get to the actually teeth cleaning 40ish minutes but the appointment itself was short. The main hygienist is awesome, and I enjoyed the attitude of the dentist. Their reception is also very kind although I'm sure she's crazy busy. I don't come with the expectations to get my teeth thoroughly cleaned because they already are, so I can't speak to that, but will say that they don't floss because they use a metal pick instead to scrape. The only mediocre appointment I had was 6 months ago, the dentist was a little short with me at that time and the hygienist did not say a word to me. But this time was way better and I was nervous going into it because of recent reviews. Dr. Graham did a great job cleaning my teeth, and she was very friendly and great to chat with. The appointment went by very fast, it took less than an hour and went smoothly. It was easy to check in, we got there about 20 minutes before just to fill out paperwork and then they immediately took us to our chairs to get our teeth cleaned and checked on. The office is in a great, convenient location and very tidy. Highly recommend coming here!
HORRIBLE. I don’t know the make dentist name. He’s horrible just wants to go back and forth with no solution to my problem. He also took my crown and didn’t clean the area up after that. Just took it out and was done. I wouldn’t recommend. I now have to go to a different dentist and pay outta pocket.
I had my second visit today a new chapter in life waiting for the final outcome the dentist was attentive to my concerns to the fit of the dentures and of making adjustments.
I usually don't write reviews for professional services but my experience at this Dental practice made me feel so disrespected. The receptionist and front desk staff where exceptional. I was checked in immediately I walked in, and someone even helped me with the computer check-in, as I forgot my glasses. The technician who did my X-rays was awesome, very gentle and professional. You could tell she had been dong this for a while. Then the doctor come in. Did not introduce her self and refused to pronounce my name. Doctors are required to identify patients by name to make sure you are working with the right patient. Well, after 2 attempts of "Oh, I cant pronounce your name and I insist that she could just check the chart, She said maybe I should see another provider. I then asked for her name. She said Dr. Lam. One of the technician came back in and told me there was no other doctor available except if I want to reschedule for the next month. This appointment was booked the previous month. She was so arrogant. I'm an African immigrant and coming from an Asian person, I felt very marginalized and disrespected. After reading the reviews about her on her, I guess I should consider my self lucky.
All I can say is that I had a wonderful experience. Everyone was very knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly kind! The check-in process was very smooth and I received excellent services. I appreciated how they explained something and the kindness with which they were also frank about next steps. I think I just found my new home. Also, thank you, Dr. Siddique! You were awesome!
Very unprofessional and unaccountable for being a dental service provider! They are very bad at doing crown teeth. Their doctor broke my original teeth and fill it back and said “it happens all the time.” Also, they chose very different color for my front teeth and when I confronted them that color was off and they were being silent and asked me to pay. This place should be checked by state or city health care government officers whether they should continue providing such unprofessional services to people.
