Silver Rapids Waterpark

The water park is great. No complaints there. However, it’s ridiculous how many wrist bands we have to wear. Just make different colored ones for the different levels or whatever like every other water park ever. Second, what’s the deal with the life guards? Do they not get enough sun or something because none of them looked happy to be there. When one of the tubes for the slide got stuck in the conveyer belt thing the guy walked over to the edge to look at what was going on but he didn’t do anything else. He sat there looking over the edge for 5 minutes. He didn’t say why we had to wait or anything. He didn’t even look at us. Third, chill out with the whistles. I was in the lazy river with my brother and he swam under one of the tubes. Then the lifeguard, who was sitting literally with in arms reach of me, (and keep in mind the river is 3 feet deep. He could save a kid on he other side of the river without even getting in the water) he saw my brother under water and blew his whistle, right next to me, to ask if my brother was fine. He could’ve just asked with his voice. Anyways I guess just make sure your lifeguards are happy because everyone can tell they don’t want to be here.

Have the best from their. food and drinks aren't expensive. The kids could play all day everyday. The lines weren't long, it was is a great day for a mama bear to relax and for her cubs to play.

We make this an annual trip and each year it continues to go downhill. There is no maintenance or upkeep being done it continues to get more run down. Never saw a single person do any clean up the two days we were there. The garbages were over full and garbage on the ground all over. I reported that the changing rooms were very dirty and towels were all over and then someone went in and cleaned it up. They were nice when I told them but if they had someone checking the changing rooms I wouldn't have to tell them. Bathrooms were so gross the floors were so dirty with hair and toilet paper and to think it all goes right back out to the pools GROSS! Anyway bottom line they need more staff for cleaning this place and to start doing some maintenance on the building. With the prices that are charging they should have enough money for the basic stuff. Cleanliness should be top priority in a place that charges $250 for a group of 4 to stay and have access to the water park. Staff have alwaya been nice and helpful so I want to make sure they are recognized for that. Also the food is good and they do their best and also seem to be working short and don't have enough staff in the kitchen either. Hope full there will be some changes and updates done to the water park facility soon.

I find it odd that some people have said bad things. The place is a blast, their hours are clearly posted, and in this day and age one would think even a caveman can call and check the hours on weekdays. Kids love it, the staff is awesome.

A little on the pricy side, but the kids loved it! We went during the winter and it was like 85 degrees inside. Made is very nice. There really is something for the whole family to enjoy.
