Wow what a great full service market, deli, and more in the heart of Downtown! Met the owner and complimented on a great store with local, natural and national brands and items. Great for visitors and locals! Great breakfast and lunch grab and goes too!

My experience at Silver Street Market, was, and still is very good. Everything one would need from a grocery store in the heart of downtown. Yes, prices are a tad higher, but I love the fact that I walk out my door a short elevator ride, and I'm at the store. Great staff, clean, fresh items. I LOVE IT!!!

Even spendier than Lowe's, but they're better merchandisers so it's easier to navigate through the sale items and fill your cart for a lot less than you'd think. I'm told it's owned by members of the family that own the John Brooks chain so that explains why its so well run. Of course the carts are doll house sized so let's not get carried away here lol.

Conviently located and reasonable hours. A small cafe is in the rear of the store where your able to sit for 30 minutes to either drink coffee or to have a small lunch from their small deli selection. Restrooms are available for customer use and are kept clean from what we saw. Items are a bit on the high side while other items are reasonable. I'm a photographer and the only problem I have is the afternoon shift mandates bags to be left in front of the store by the door which would be easy access for someone to walk out with it, but after speaking to the owner, his understanding he allowed us to bring our camera backpacks through. The owner is pleasant and though he's a small store it's a store that we enjoy for a cup of coffee which for a large is about $1.00. Before you can sit you have to pay first and keep your receipt handy for proof of purchase. The store is very well maintained, stocked and clean as most of his employees greet you a welcome and as you leave bids you a good day. we'll return to Silver Street Market as the store isn't far from Albuquerque train and Greyhound station.

Clean and the store carried things I couldn't find in other stores (e.g., ring baloney and pimiento). Parking is a bit problematic, but it was okay on Saturday. Bright and cheerful. Friendly personnel.
