This bakery is about average for a Maryland bakery. Being from NJ/NY we are hard critics. We ordered the black and white cookie which was small and on the harder side usually these are about 5 inches in diameter and are a soft cookie. We also has a blueberry danish which was was really good and a chocolate iced cupcake which was average. The challah loaf was soft but did not have that glistening crust. Overall it was a good experience with decent baked goods but not worth a trip out of the way.
I love love love this bakery. Everything is so fresh and yummy. The cookies are crisp and crunchy, not too sweet and the designs are adorable. The pastries are finger-licking good. They are buttery and light. The fruits don't taste canned nor super sugary.
As someone who ISN'T Kosher, I gotta say, the donuts I picked up today were pretty good! I order Boston cream, chocolate iced, and glazed PLUS a dozen bagels for a work event We have a kosher employee. Service was great. I'm happy I called last week, as I needed to order the bagels in advance. Service was great. Both on the phone and in person, they were friendly. All their other item's in the display looked amazing.
We have been coming here for years. Exceptionally friendly owner and staff. Their baked goods are always fresh. This is our go-to bakery for birthday and other celebratory cakes. The helly donys for Chanukah are really good and have a nice jelly to dough ratio which is often unfounded these days. Best bakery in Baltimore in my opinion.
Some of the best cookies I have ever eaten. The owner is so kind, he went above and beyond to make my dad's birthday special! 10/10 would recommend.
We love Sion's! Our favorite things are their awesome potato knishes, their chocolate tops, brownies, rainbow cake, and strawberry radio bars
The best!!…..and the rainbow cake?!…Fantastic, made with fresh strawberries!
This bakery has the best donut i have EVER had. I literally mean this, as they were fresh soft doughy menage of sweet goodness. Goodness. Whatever their recipe is please don't change it.
Always good. Cinnamon Danish from Sions with a cup of hot coffee in front of an old movie is the ultimate
Great service and baked goods.
