Sleeping Lady Resort

This is an amazing, out of the way wonderland. Everything here is top quality yet in a woodsy setting. The bartenders at The Grotto are two of the best I have ever encountered. The service at their excellent buffet style restaurant is as good as you can find anywhere. Shout out to Jennifer.... And did I mention the spa? A surreal, transcendental experience. One caveat though. No smoking inside or out. It will appeal to some, but for others it might be a deal breaker.....

This lovely resort is set in the Bavarian town of Leavenworth. As if the town itself didn't have enough charm, this rustic resort is a nature retreat. Set on the icicle parkway, you can walk along the icicle river or go on one the many hikes in the area. We had drinks at the bar locally and were not disappointed. Highly recommend the Spanish coffee - what a treat just watching the drink being made with your own eyes and being lit on fire! We also went for the buffet dinner - the chef creates the menu and everything is locally grown. Each course had at least item to love, with the exception of desert which was a little disappointing personally. I would still recommend trying the restaurant. As an added bonus, most of the resort is cell phone reception-free but WiFi friendly, to add that extra distance from technology for a truly relaxing getaway

Great place food fun and entertainment. I highly recommend this place with family and friends. But bring your wallet and make sure you make enough money to enjoy this great establishment. P.S. Not kindling at all so bring lots of money

Beautiful and serene. My best friends daughters wedding was here last Christmas and it was magical. Staff is great and helpful, and the Bistro was cozy and fun. The cabins are modern and tastefully decorated. Don't t look for a TV as there aren't any. This is a great place with outdoors activities in mind. It's a place to relax and decompress.

This is my first stay at the Sleeping Lady. Fabulous place; quiet, away from the crowds in Leavenworth village. The staff is exceptional and accommodating. All you need to do is ask. The rooms are wonderful and the grounds are great to stroll around. The views are beautiful with the sleeping lady mountain in the background. I plan to return many times.
