Slope Suds Salon

Slope Suds is a great neighborhood salon. It has a warm and friendly vibe with very talented stylists. I highly recommend Alan who has cut my hair and my daughter's hair for a few years. There's never a rush, and he always takes the time to make sure we are happy.

Slope Suds is my favorite hair salon in NYC! Everyone is so nice and welcoming, and there’s always great music playing. I come here every month to see Alan for a double process platinum blonde and I always leave completely satisfied. He does an amazing job and throws in extra treatments when my hair needs it; I would come in more often if I could, but they really care about your hair here! I can’t say good enough things about Slope Suds. Alan is an incredible hair stylist - a magician with color and highlights!!! I wanted an Auburn reddish color for my hair, but had tried other places and did not get the right color I wanted. Alan took the time to discuss with me before even touching my hair to make sure he knew exactly what I wanted. I always leave feeling super satisfied and happy. Although I don’t live in New York anymore, I still come to Alan for everything hair. He is a fantastic stylist and also human. Thank you Slope Suds!

Been coming here for about 5 years, which is coincidentally how long people have been telling me how lucky i am to be a natural blonde. Alan delivers the finest highlights in the land. His ultra thin technique makes for near flawless grow out, especially for my fine straight hair. No ugly demarcation lines means less maintenance, which is easier on my wallet! Really recommend Alan for fine hair blondes!

Love this place! My first haircut at slope suds, Alan even took the time to teach me about my hair which I really appreciated. He has lots of knowledge and loves sharing it! I’ve been coming here for a year or two, and love having a solid neighborhood spot.

This place is a neighborhood gem. I've had a pixie cut for most of my life so I've had my fair share of good and bad cuts, but Callie nailed it. She gave me the perfect cut that grew out so nicely. Just a wonderful, professional and chill environment :
