Love this place. Sometimes I ride my motorcycle just to get a cup of coffee or tea in the early evenings. Parking is not the easiest to find but worth it. They used to be cash only but recently started accepting some credit cards. Be warned, not all credit cards.

Small World gets high marks for friendliness and ambiance, but low marks for the most important thing of all (to me) - the coffee! Their coffee is overroasted, with the cold brew bring a particularly egregious example. It's almost undrinkable. Of course Starbucks is just as bad, so if you're looking for good coffee in Princeton you're unfortunately out of luck. If you're looking for a good cafe (coffee notwithstanding), Small World is your best bet.

I try my best to support the local Princeton economy and do go here often, both as a grad student from 2003-2006 and now from 2013-on. Some of the staff are great. I do like the eclectic, academic, crowd and the coffee culture. The cappuccino forte and mochas/lattes are the better products but you need $5 so it is a treat for me instead of an everyday thing. It is Princeton at its best - from researchers, graduate students, undergrads and post-docs, all go there and give it a college-town feel. Staff do try and have pride in their business.

The food and drinks here are great. They have a very large selection of teas and coffee, and the staff is extremely friendly. One aspect that really differentiates small world coffee from other coffee shops is it's atmosphere. It has a really chill vibe with a very diverse art scene. Every month there is a new artist's work all around the coffee shop which always makes the place seem fresh and enjoyable. If you want a chill place to study or just hangout with friends, I would strongly recommend this place.

Princeton’s bohemian & hipster coffee shop, with excellent strong coffee ( even the decaf has a bold rich flavor). Gets very crowded on weekend mornings and the WiFi is spotty at best. But this is one if the best places to hang out and people watch in town. A large drip coffee to go is a “ double joe to go”.
