I have been looking for a GOOD dentist since I moved to Atlanta a year ago. Dr. Patel is IT! By far the best experience I've had at a dentist. Dr. Patel is so professional and kind. His experience lured me in initially I was looking for someone with 10+ years experience, but not someone who needed bifocals to see my face!. He clearly knew what he was doing, and he made me feel really comfortable. I also appreciate a conservative dentist - one that doesn't try to "sell" you services you probably don't need. 5 stars all around. I will definitely be going back.
Awesome dentist! My family loves coming here and they always have fresh coffee. They let me stay in the office until I felt better. Smiles is probably one of the best denstiry places I’ve been too!!
This is absolutely the WORST dentist I’ve ever seen. I went in for a cleaning which took 2 mins— they didn’t even floss my teeth! She said I had 7 cavities and “filled” them. I was in the office for 4 hours because she was back and forth with me other patients. The bite was so off it wool 45 mins of grinding. Mind you when I first went in I had no problems and no pain- now 2 weeks later and I can barely chew because both sides of my mouth throb!!! I went in again today to have it fixed and she said i needed to see a new doctor she’s done her best. Completely screwed my teeth and now I’m left in pain, need a new dentist and already used a cleaning on my Insurance which I didn’t receive!!! DO NOT GO HERE. They do not care about their patients and the dentist flat out is terrible at her profession.
Absolutely the best dentistry experience I have ever had in 57 years!! Dr. Buxton and the entire staff at "Smiles on Peachtree" are extremely talented professionals, as well as, caring and compassionate people. They provide a high level of care, reasonably priced services and an extraordinary level of customer service. They also provide outstanding referrals if additional specialized care is needed such as a periodontist or an endodontist. Dr. Buxton will call to follow up on your condition and provide her cell number in case you need additional care. Truly an outstanding dental operation.
Had such a good experience at Smiles on Peachtree today. Best thing was that I had a 2pm appointment and they had me in the examination room at about 2:03, that's a first in a doctor's office for me. I wanted to say thank you to all of the staff for making everything easy, but especially to Nancy and Dr Buxton for such caring service. Thank you
I go to Smiles on Peachtree whenever I need something. They are so kind and helpful. The doctors are so gentle with me. They are so fast and do their best job. I think they are the best dentist.
Before going to Smiles On Peachtree, do your research, I certainly wish I would have. I went in because I had a toothache and figured I would probably need a filling and I needed my yearly cleaning completed. When the dentist examined my teeth which took about 25 seconds, she said I needed 7 fillings and a deep cleaning. I was certainly taken by surprise as I had never in my life even had 1 cavity. I agreed to have all of them filled as she said it was imperative. She also said I needed to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed within 2 weeks as that could be causing much of my pain. By the way I was 5 and a half months pregnant and I am a healthy 30 years old. I asked if it was something I could hold off on until after the baby arrives and she said it could cause severe damage to my gums if not removed. I set an appointment for 2 weeks out. They don’t actually do wisdom tooth extractions at that office so they sent me to their Roswell office which is very dirty, unsanitary and unprofessional. While I was there, they finished my “deep cleaning” and extracted my wisdom teeth. They gave me shots in my gums and later I found out that there was damage to the gums from the way they administered the shots. I was in a lot of pain for about 3 weeks. I kept going back to ask her to check my teeth because I knew something was wrong on the upper left side. She then said. “Well you need a root canal” I told her my entire reasoning for going to see her was for a toothache on the bottom of my mouth. Now my upper part is painful! After visiting her time and time again, I ended up going to a different dentist in Lilburn today as the pain was unbearable 3 months later that was FANTASTIC. She found that The dentist at Smiles on peachtree has drilled too deep for my upper tooth and did not fill it properly. I did end up getting a root canal and they found that the infection had spread significantly and there was a large infection Inside the tooth. It was the first time this particular dentist had seen an actual infection to that degree inside the tooth and not in the gum. I was prescribed actual antibiotics that work unlike at Smiles on Peachtree. Thisninfection could have caused major damage and I am glad I was able to get the treatment I needed. I do not want anyone to experience what I had to go through because of a practice looking to make as much money on their patients as possible. Smilesnon peachtree was purchased less than a year ago 2017 so all of the previous reviews should be void as those dentists are no longer with the practice. I will be taking further action with this practice, I truly hope you will do your research.
I should have read the review for Dr. Balyan’s office in Marietta first before making an appt with her. The staff was nice and told me before an extraction she needed to meet with us for 20 min, go over X-rays and then extraction in marietta on a Saturday in a month. Office is pretty and I really wanted this to go well, but no such luck. Once we got back, I got uncomfortable . Dr. Baylan was not interested in speaking/listening to me, her tech was clearly in need of more training with X-rays and how to talk to patients. She kept making it clear she didn’t know what the plan was and then referred to teeth as toofs. Dr. Balyan was also interviewing assistants during this time. Her front staff was nothing but courteous and her office manager was trying to wrangle her, but that’s ridiculous. She was insisting to pull the tooth today, but then decided without any real conversation nevermind come another time because it’s crooked or something and kept telling me the wrong dates I was scheduled and insisting dates when I already had one scheduled. I missed an appt dealing with this mess and it was a waste of time.
What a great and calming experience this was. Dr. Buxton and her entire crew, went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. Dr. Buxton is very thorough and explains everything clearly on what needs to be worked on, and how/when it needs to be fixed. They have Netflix streaming, so you can watch all your favorite shows, while you're getting worked done. If you are looking for a new practice or you're currently unhappy with your Dentist, I highly recommend coming here. I know, I will be back.
I always dread going to the dentistsince I was little but going to Smiles on Peachtree is a completely different experience and better than nay other experience I've had. From the paffafin wax for my hands, to the fireplace on the screen and the soft music, giving me advil for my headache, sweet dental hygentist and of course Dr. Buxton. Thanks for making my dental cleaning a breeze and relaxing!!!
