I am not usually one to write reviews, but I felt the need to today. I was highly impressed with the produce department. Absolutely beautiful!
Visited this Smith’s about a week ago and was very impressed! The employees restocking items were so kind and asked if I needed any help or assistance with anything. The cashier and gal helping me bag my items were also so sweet and kind! Great location!
We typically checkout through the self serve area. A few days ago we did a little heavier shopping & decided to checkout via one of the full service lanes. All was fine & cordial paying for our groceries but when it came time for packing them into our basket, Lawanda refused to assist in bagging our groceries or even attempting to load them into our basket. I made mention to her about her lack of customer service but she continued to just stand there & watch us load our groceries from the checkout. She’s a poor excuse for any company to have as a frontline customer service representative.
Went in with my elderly grandmother and she needed help finding an item. She approached an employee taller thin man. I believe his his name tag said Greg and he completely ignored her and rudely turned his back to her. I thought he had headphones in and couldn't hear her, but after he turned his head I realized he didn't. He was just ignoring her. After trying to get his attention for the 5th timeI'm not exaggerating, I went up to him and told him my grandmother needed help finding an item. He turned to my grandmother and interrupted her with a random aisle number before she even finished asking her question, and then he just walked away. Very rude. We went to the aisle number he told her and the item she was looking for wasn't there. We had to ask another employee who was very helpful and walked us to the other side of the store where the item was nowhere near where the first employee said it was. Glad the second employee was so helpful, but the first employee was extremely rude and unhelpful towards my elderly grandmother.
Very polite staff members. The manager I believe she was the manager went out of her way and searched all around the store when I asked her if Smiths had Kimchi. Really appreciate how thoughtful they are here!
This is a HUGE Smith's. I like going here when I am up here so I really recommend it. The downside is that it is insanely busy at all times of the day. However, the shelves are always stocked and the store and parking lot are always clean. Lots of good teenagers with good work ethic work here which you frankly don't see to often at a grocery store.
I am not one to write reviews but this really bothers me. The advertised price that requires a digital coupon is a joke! I tried once to download the digital coupon for the pint sz Haagen Daaz ice cream and it took me to dead-end. Today , I grabed blueberries, a house plant and Omeprozole thinking that the sale price was good for all card members. To my surprise, they all needed a digital coupon you have to download. First of all, I’m pretty ok with a smart phone but the connection in the store is so slow and choppy, it’s annoying long to access the site. Second, how is that fair for those who don’t use a smart phone or can’t figure out how to make it work me. Then there’s the folks who don’t even realize the didn’t get the sale price because the yellow signage didn’t say it’s a digital coupon. This is false advertising. No where on the yellow sale sign did it say “digital coupon “. This is yet another scam towards unknowing consumers.please just offer the sale pricing for all card members without having to go through the ridiculous hoops of a digital coupon.
This store in particular seems dirtier every time I shop here. Today, I was going to get some deli meats and cheeses for a party... until I saw the slicer obviously had not been cleaned between a variety of previous orders.
The cashier rush through everything didn't even asking how we were doing and she didn't even give us the points that we supposed to get overall a bad service. Everything else was good One person can really really ruin the experience
Worse service every time I put gas at this location I have an issue with them. I’m trying to pay 40$ in gas with 50 and the clerks always have a problem. It sucks this is my local store in my neighborhood and I can’t even put gas with out having an issue this is so ridiculous
