Whole foods is one of my favorite places to shop. So much variety here. Yes. They are a bit more expensive than the usual store but they also have very high quality goods and a great selection. We've always been really happy with the fresh produce, meat, and seafood. Beautiful flowers greet you as you walk into the fresh veggies and fruit sections... before you know it you are nor sure where to look because there are so many great selections of snacks and staples. Don't forget to stop at the bakery to cure any sweet tooth. Happy shopping!! If you like this review please click "like"... it helps my feelings.
IMMEDIATELY UPON ENTERING: Customers are greeted by fragrances of lavender, mint, citrus, floral bouquets, sour dough bread and seared salmon. Energizing upbeat music provides retail background ambiance to a shopper's first visual connection with the store--which includes an extensive variety of vividly colorful & exotic produce. Further in, customers approach an abundance of fresh butchered meats bison, lamb, grass fed organic beef, etc. Novel imported cheeses and charcuterie sausages are closely accompanied by in-house baked specialty breads, beautiful cakes and of course, the well reputed olive bar $$. The store's products almost feel overwhelmingly limitless in options, even including an abundance of vegan and gluten-free chocolates and vegan cornbreads, as well as locally sourced handmade goods. WHAT CAN BE EXPECTED: Tasting samples on the day of my visit included Brie w/tart cherry jam on a flakey cracker, lobster bisque & fresh baguette, pineapple, and a house spiced sausage. The staff were very friendly, quick & curtious. Rumors seem true that the store is frequently very busy. THE TAKE-AWAY: The Whole Foods experience promotes a general atmosphere of emotional + physical health, paired with an entertaining luxurious food-spa type wellness... And a grocery receipt price tag to match! Literally upon departure from this establishment, a shopper may be taking away fewer bags for their buck, but the higher quality level and appetizing products purchased, will easily create boom-a-rang clients & great word-of-mouth referral business. Chances are likely, that you'll be back! :
Would've had a 5star ... Only thing it can be a little pricey... Other than that the store is amazing. I'm normally a trader Joe's kinda gal but for a quick run, it can take me an hour...so many great things to shop for! From bakery, deli, flower shop. health section to the fresh deli bar to catch an organic cup of soup and have lunch on site. Gotta love it. Enjoy.
A bustling large-scale grocery store that features amazing produce and a great meat market. A wonderful deli and bakery, and countless other higher quality products. Everyone should be familiar with this place even if they plan to visit only occasionally. Prices are a little higher but not bad overall.
The food is fine, variety is okay but the staff is the issue. Rudeness, they ignore your pleas for help. It was my first visit in years and I just wanted canned fish, they were very rude. I ended up buying more than I wanted, spending an astronomical amount for nothing special. its kind of like a grocery-store example of our American pharmaceutical problem. Oh..the canned fish section is very meager. What about clams, oysters? And my daughter reports the pomegranate seeds taste like cleaning products with a cat pee finishing notes.
It's still one of my go-to markets when I need a vegetarian option; I can't find this vast collection of vegetables anywhere else. After the vegetables: Their cheese section is awesome! with a wide variety of cheeses from all over the world. They also carry a large selection of organic foods, which is probably the largest collection of organic foods among the various supermarkets in the area. If I had to nitpick: The parking is the worst during peak hours, the only negative thing about this place.
I was there to return an Amazon package. There was no one available to assist. The store was accessible super clean, and well stocked. The parking lot was well lit and did not feel unsafe. There were no Albuquerque zombies walking around.
Whole foods is such a cool place to get healthier options. However, you ever notice the customers there always have their noses up in the air? Stop me when I lie.
Fruits and vegetables here are delicious, a little expensive but the taste is worth it. They also have a salad bar as well as a variety of foods that are hot and ready to go. Nice little bakery also.
Don’t shop here if you have perfume allergies! They put everything scented right by the cash registers - while waiting to pay my nose got clogged up and I was starting to cough. I was just about to drop my groceries on the spot and rush out when one of the employees rescued me. He is the only reason I give them two stars - I will not return.
