Very pricey or i was ripped off. 2 sandwiches$7.63 2 sides $1.00 EA beef sticks $9.86 that doesn't add up to what I paid

The pulled pork was good. The Mac And cheese was a very small portion for 3.75$ plus tax. Over all I would get the pulled pork again but definitely would not spend the money on the tiny portion of Mac n cheese again.

If you like sweet BBQ or are expecting something Texas-esque this place will fall short of your expectation. This isn't your typical run-of-the-mill place, but it's been a North Denver staple for years! Let's face it, you're probably not going to find a spot on Lobster roll here in Colorado, so why look for the best of Houston or Memphis? With that being said it still is VERY delicious, loaded with flavor...and you should give their lunch sandwich with peppers and cheese a try! I'd agree with the reminiscence of a sloppy Joe sauce, but I don't think that's a bad thing at all. There are many different types of BBQ sauce! While each encompasses a general circle of ingredients...in the end each sauce ends up almost as unique as a finger print! This one totally meets the BBQ classification. Smokey's has been a great lunch stop for my whole entire family since it first opened years ago, with Smokey himself manning the line. Thanks for your yummy food ladies!

Best brisket in town, I've had one every Thanksgiving for years. The au jus sauce is amazing and their beef jerky is worth driving pretty far for. Plus the people are super nice and you can tell there's a reason they've been there so long.

Usually "off the beaten path" can be the best choice, and this IS that place! Food and prices are FANTASTIC!! And the customer service is just as good! Take a few mins and get a little out the city to enjoy a Denver treat!!!!

First time ever here, order bbq pork sandwich. Value meal, just shy of $11. I get a bbq pork sloppy joe. Sandwich is maybe 6 inches long, with not too much meat, and nothing else. Peppers are extra. Onions and pickles, nope. Potato is OK, if you like salt, them you may like it more. For the price, not really into this place

Best ever the oner is the best we love her alot! Its like family here! Every Thanksgiving and Christmas we get our smoked turkeys from here best ever you have to have one! This is a must to come to!

So amazingly good always has been always will be then eating there for over 20 years can't go wrong best I've had!

Ordered the sampler platter,chicken was roasted nothing amazing, sausage was chewy and no flavor, ribs were ok and just ok, worst part of the meal was the sauce it might as well have been marinara sauce all I could taste was tomato HORRIBLE SAUCE all for 15.00 so if you like spending a lot for bad food this is your place.
