Smoky Mountain Brewery

Went here twice while in town on vacation. Atmosphere is nice and service was good. We had a family dinner of pizza and salad and we're pleasantly surprised! The beer is also pretty decent, although it wasn't the best craft beer I've had, it was still good and fresh. Went there for drinks later in the week and sat at the bar area and was impressed by the drink selection and service.

Started out with a 40min wait at 8pm when there was several tables open. Upon getting seated our waiter was no help going over the menu selections as well as the beer choices. She actually made 3 trips to the table before asking if I wanted to try a beer and when I asked what was the local favorite she looked at me like I was stupid. I did go ahead and try the "helles" beer and it was very good! I ordered my hamburger medium in which it was very well done along with my girlfriends who's was much more done than mine! The waiter was not very friendly, the burgers was way over cooked and dry and I won't ever come back to this location when I'm in town. I had heard such great things about this place and was greatly let down. Only reason I give it 2 stars instead of 1 was because the beer was really good.

Your place was recommended to us as we are visiting from Ohio. We was seated pretty quickly for being a family of 7. Our waitress came and took our drink and food order. The food came and was really good. No problems there. She came to check on us and asked if we needed refills. We said yes to our Ice Teas and asked for a box. We waited for about 10 minutes, she never came back. I asked one of the hostess( older lady in a black dress) if we could get our to-go-box and check. Our waitress came finally and was rude. I always leave a pretty good tip because there is so many of us but because of our service she lost out. We was there March 27, 2018.

We love coming here whenever we’re in the area! I don’t normally order burgers (would rather make my own) but theirs are great! DH and I are huge fans of the Thunder Road Burger and their fries are awesome! The Brewmaster pizza is tasty, the pretzels and beer cheese are delish, and I love just about all of their beers! Great selection! There’s something for everyone at “The Brewery” and if you haven’t been yet, give it a try!

I’d give this place a negative five if I could. My wings were cold, my grandson’s burger was completely uncooked inside, everyone else’s food in our party was marginal. Oh yeah, about those wings? I actually had to request napkins and wipes. The most disturbing part of the evening occurred on our way out of the restaurant. There was an area of the facility with no lighting. None. They had seated people in this area and as we left they were looking at their menus by the light of their cell phones. Go to Calhoun’s. It’s a stone’s throw away and is a much better place to eat.
