We were so fortunate to have Lauren as our wedding coordinator! She is professional, friendly, talented at what she does, and willing to go above and beyond the call of duty. She kept our planning on track and was so responsive to all of our questions. I thought we had everything together and her consultations made me realize we had missed so many little details. On the wedding day, they handled everything so I didn't have to worry about a thing…even the guests at my wedding were commenting on how great a job she had done. Everything was perfect! I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Social Butterfly. I'd recommend them to other bride's-to-be with no hesitation!

I sincerely cannot say enough good things about Social Butterfly. Everyone on their staff was highly professional, timely, friendly, engaging, and thoughtful. We selected their Day of Coordination package but that really extended well beyond just the wedding day. We knew they really cared about us as a couple and they were just as invested in our wedding day going as we hoped it would, as we were.
Unfortunately for us, we had a major vendor issue arise on our day, but thankfully we had Lauren and Lynette there to show us exactly why we hired them as Day of Coordinators. They handled the situation professionally, discretely (guests had no idea there was an issue), and efficiently. Here is what happened on our day as well as how they handled the situation like the pros they are:
We hired a DJ service to provide music for our full event (ceremony, cocktail hour/picture time, and reception) but our DJ was a no-show until 15 minutes before our reception started. They didn't panic or leave it up to my husband and I to figure out how to handle this unforeseen situation. Instead, they immediately came up with backup plans (which they already put into place for the ceremony), were constantly contacting our hired DJ, and then informed me about what was going on. I knew I could trust them to handle this because they were already doing so before I was aware anything was wrong. I told them to do what they needed to do and we'll be happy as long as there was music. They delivered. We had music at our ceremony. During cocktail hour/pictures, they continued to work out the DJ problem and, after checking with me, they even went so far as to asking one of their friends who is a professional DJ to come to our wedding because they didn't think our hired DJ was going to show up at all. Our DJ showed up 15 minutes before the reception started but that didn't solve the entire problem. He was flustered and unsure about emceeing so he chose not to emcee at all. Lauren and Lynette realized this so they took it upon themselves to prompt him to keep him on schedule as well as announced to the appropriate people that their part was coming up (i.e. father/daughter dance, toasts, etc). Once open dancing started, they could finally step back from the whole DJ mess. It is extraordinary what they did to handle the entire DJ debacle but that's not all they did on the wedding day. They still handled all the other wedding coordination obligations: maintained the schedule for everyone, interacted with all the vendors, oversaw the production of the whole day, and completed setup/tear down of decor.
I cannot image what we would have done without them. Having a major vendor issue, like a no show DJ, could push anyone over the edge on a stress filled day like your wedding day. Having them on our team allowed us to stay calm and put all our trust in their abilities to solve the problems we encountered. Seriously, our wedding day would not have turned out to be a spectacular event without their help.
If you want a team you can fully trust and count on, hire Social Butterfly. You won't regret it at all. They started out as professionals that we hired to assist with our wedding day; now, we can happily call them friends.

Lynette and her team blew away all of our expectations for what a day-of coordinator was. They took care of all prep work, ran our rehearsal, and kept our day going smoothly and on time. They even cleaned up at the end of the night and packed up our stuff for our trip home. They were the last vendor we booked however, they may have made the biggest difference in how perfect our wedding day was. We highly recommend Lynette and her team!

Hannah and her team were nothing short of amazing! My wedding turned out to be my dream wedding!
Every meeting we had was on time, professional, informative, and very productive. They made my budget stretch way more than I could have on my own. The decorations, the flowers, the details! WOW!
The most treasured part of working with the Social Butterfly, for me, was the fact that I got to enjoy everything! There was no stress in finding and booking ANYTHING! I told them what I wanted and they found it or something equal to it. The same goes for the day of my wedding. I knew that my big day was in the hands of professionals. I was AMAZED with how everything turned out. I had so many complements on everything!
I would HIGHLY recommend the Social Butterfly to anyone who is considering it! Hannah is great at what she does!

I would have given Social Butterfly 2 stars until a few days ago after expressing my concerns to their owner, and lead coordinator, Lauren, and her responding by shifting blame on to other vendors and my family.
I had a horrible experience with Social Butterfly for their Day of Coordination package. It is clear to me that they do not value those contracts like they do higher paying clients. Lauren was late to every meeting/obligation she had with me, including being over 30 minutes late to the rehearsal. I had to contact her several times over 2-3 weeks trying to get her to return a copy of the contract to me and deposit the check I had sent for payment. It wasn't until I told her I was canceling the check that she finally "found" it and deposited it.
Nothing ran smoothly when it came to the transitions of the rehearsal or the reception, and when we had problems with vendors the morning of the wedding, she made a point of tell us that we had called her to an hour before she was scheduled to start working on our contract, despite her emailing me and telling me that all vendor concerns should be forwarded to her so that she could deal with them.
I could go on with all of the issues I had with Social Butterfly, but overall I just wouldn't recommend their Day of Coordination package. It isn't worth the money to have to do 90% of the work yourself, plus the added stress.
